It works for moving kitty/Car ride
Wow wow!! This stuff works!! I sprayed inside my cats cat carrier about 5 sprays and let sit for 10 mins before putting him in. I had to take my cat on an hour car ride to our new home. At first he meowed here and there for about 10 mins and then was a almost sleeping and would let out a small meow sometimes, by the time we got to our new home he was almost sleeping. He cried out a few times when we walked into new home but then I had to just set him in the bathroom in his cat carrier while everyone moved my stuff in and he just slept. I couldn’t believe it!!! Going to the vet is always big time stress and lots of meowing. So grateful for this stuff. I also got the plug in one to relax him at our new place and I have been so surprised with how relaxed he is so maybe the plug ins work too.

Neutralizes places for territorial cats
I’ve purchased this twice now.One of mine a Russian Blue kitty who has extreme anxiety, she’s very scared to go to vet, and one of my other kitties were also intimidating her. The situation got so bad I had to move the problem kitty out of the environment. When I did that, the problem kitty was having issues adjusting to her new area. I used this to acclimate her to her environment. After that I gave it away to someone who had just adopted a new kitty, to make it easier for them.I recently adopted a kitten and I’m having issues with my older cat not being scared and uncomfortable. Kittens don’t know boundaries like adult cats. So I bought this again to neutralize their areas, so nothing feels like personal to either of them. I’ve seen less aggression from my resident cat since spraying everything down. But going forward, I have to keep a stash of this because I think it should be used periodically after cleaning up in a multi-cat home. I still have to reintroduce the problem kitty back with them. And this will help tremendously along with some calming chews or drops.Note: if you’re having issues with territorial cats in a multi-cat home, it’s beneficial to combine this spray with an oral supplement (1 supplement, not multiple). But do not overdo the supplement as it will manifest other serious health issues if the amino acids like l-tyrosine and l-theanine are dosed too much and prolonged over a period. I would try just one supplement at a time, stick to the dosing suggestion for the bottle, and take breaks to observe.Once the issue resolves, stop the supplement and keep using the spray, maybe switch to a hemp oil at nighttime. But don’t keep using the amino acids if the issue resolves.Additionally, stay away from calming collars. I was considering them but most of them aren’t breakaway collars and if your feline is very irritable with a collar and not used to them, they may stick a paw through the hole which will tighten the collar and accidentally lead to death by asphyxiation. So please be careful and patient when resolving issues in a multicat home.

Very calming for pets
Don't know yet if it will help with my cat anxiety. I just got it 3 days ago but I do know it puts all the pets in the house to sleep makes them feel calm

This product didn’t help us.
We have a very emotionally messed up cat. We knew that when we rescued her 3 years ago.She came to think about 5 months ago that our leather sofas and chairs are a perfect place to pee. First she did on the floor by the corners next to the sofa—later right on the seats!!We have tried EVERYTHING. This product was the very first thing we tried on the corners, thinking some anxiety was causing this. It didn’t help. Then we moved this product to the CatGenie to hopefully calm her there. Still, it did not seem to help.Next we moved food bowls next to the sofa. That seemed to help. But she still did it.Then we bought SSSCat air sprayers and positioned them to spray in the sofas if she got on them. That really helped. We now keep big boxes on the sofas and put the SSSSCat air sprayers on the top of the boxes. That has stopped this behavior. We are using the SSSCat Sprayers on our dining room table and kitchen counters to train this cat that these places may be “dangerous” and they seem to really work.We are also keeping our screened in lanai door ajar as there is a regular litter pan outside. That may be helping during the day.She does this peeing on furniture at night too. That’s why we’re using the boxes and the sprayers. We’re weary of these boxes on our sofa and chair seats but it’s better than putting this beautiful cat in a shelter. That is what most people would end up doing and the cat would eventually be put down. I’m sure this is why she ended up at a rescue for cats in the first place. We think in time this cat will forget about this behavior and not be tempted to pee in our nice furniture and our living room will someday look normal again without boxes. Meanwhile we have boxes in place to remind her that the sofas and chairs are not a comfortable or safe place to pee. This is working.

Doesn't work at all
I purchased this because my 11 year old cat has bladder stones and has become aggressive towards my other cats. This product does not work at all. And I know that other pheromone calming sprays work because the vet uses them and they work on my cat. This product is absolutely worthless and did not do anything at all like it says it does.

Feline calming spray
Immediate review..... Just received it and couldn't wait to try it. I sprayed some in his Kitty Tower in the garage although he's inside right now. I could tell he could smell it on me because he was sniffing everywhere looking for the scent. Put a small amount on a towel and laid it on top of my file drawer and he immediately jumped on it sniffed it and then made himself cozy. I think I'm going to be happy with this item. I do have a question for those who have had it longer than I have. Does it prevent your cats from scratching your walls? Do you have to spray the walls as well?
