Such a nice little find for any girl growing up faster than her school friends and before her time. Helps any girl going through this that they are not alone and how they are feeling is totally normal, because let's face it periods suck some times for all ages!This book is so easy to read and not boring at all so keeps them interested to keep on reading rather than the typical growing up book.very happy and highly recommend :)

I couldn't put this down. I read it first to gauge the right age to give to my daughter. It is so fun, so easy to read in a diary format and I couldn't put it down. It's really accessible for girls. It feels like they are connecting to another young girl and her personal story which, at this age, they may prefer that rather than hearing it from their mum. A fun, light, informative read. I can't recommend it enough. Get this for your 10/11 year old daughter. Thank you Tessa.

Great little book. Got this for my 12 year old Granddaughter as she had just started her periods. Written in a way that makes her want to read on. Has answered many questions and prompted some good discussions. There's so much going on for girls at this time and this book has really helped take the mystery out of it.

This book arrived today and I give it straight to my 12 year old daughter. Her head was stuck in it for the rest of the day. She liked it so much she finished it in the same day.

Tessa is the lady when it comes to designing books to help children understand what is happening to their bodies and to not be scared but to even embrace and celebrate this part of their life.Tessa uses humour to make it easier for the children to read and enjoy amongst lots of knowledge.I always send ladies with any questions about their cycles and bodies to Tessa and now I send mum's of young ladies.Thank you Tessa for being known at the period lady too many and helping so many people.Excellent and much needed book. I wish I had read it when I was younger.

This book made me laugh out loud! Ruby Luna's character is insightful and multi-layered, and she was a delight to get to know in this book as well as the previous one. The story, written in diary form, is genuinely funny and informative, and the messages come across in a really accessible way. I wish I had had this book when I was younger, as it explained so much and would have helped everything feel more 'normal' and well explained. I'm really looking forward to reading about Ruby Luna as she gets older and she has more adventures!
