From the producer of Get Out comes a superhero story like you've never seen before. Bo (Jacob Latimore, Collateral Beauty) is a young street magician who is left to raise his little sister after his parents pass away. To keep a roof over their heads, he takes on a job selling drugs for psychopathic drug dealer Angelo (Dulรฉ Hill, TV's Psych). When he realizes he's in too deep and that he and his sister are at risk, Bo uses his magic to find a way out in this inventive and original film.

A movie I wish had a sequal!
I remember going to the movie theaters to see this movie, because the commercial I saw on YOUTUBE showed a kid who looked like me making his own superpowers, of course I wanted to see that. The story is very relatable, as I come from kinda the same circumstance, but he starts of as a magician and the ultimate magic he could perform ended up becoming sort of a power for him. It helps him when he needs it the most, if that's not something worth watching IDK what is. The movie is good and I wish a sequal would announce they did make 4 times their production money in box office. Who knows, but what I do know is this deal isnt bad you get a blu ray copy and a dvd copy for 8.00

Magic saves a kid from the drug game
Bo (Jacob Latimore) lost his mom a year ago and now has to raise his kid sister Tina (Storm Reid) on his own. He performs magic on the streets and meets a girl he likes named Holly (Seychelle Gabriel) but he makes his money by selling drugs. Things take a bad turn when the drug game becomes way to serious for him. You can automatically relate to Bo and his situation. Heโs a good kid in a bad place. The story gets a little shaky at the end but he ends up saving himself using magic and itโs pretty ingenious. It really makes the movie stand out.

Solid cast, Good characters, Weak story
I love the cast in this movie and it was awesome to see Dule Hill break his typecast and finally play a villain. I thought the characters were pretty well written and you could feel the genuine struggle that the main character deals with having to support his sister and do something that he obviously doesn't wanna do but has to do (drug dealing) and eventually get in way over his head.My issue is that the movie fades hard after the first act. Following his decision to break out of the life he's living, Nothing really happens. There's a severe lack of drama and any time that there is something interesting going on, The movie quickly turns to avoid it and that sucks. Especially when the first act really gets you into the movie and then the rest of it ends up being Eh.

Misleading. (spoilers)
If you've read the description or seen the trailer and think oh a new superhero movie or a movie about a kid with magic powers. Prepare for disappointment. The story is interesting if not told a million times before. The "magic" is inconsiquential to the actual story and might as well not even be in the movie. It feels like something that was added on to capitlize on the current fad of super powers. The real story is about a brilliant youth, living in a poor'ish neighborhood who has to sell drugs to survive and provide for him and his younger sister after the mom passes the year before. He gave up on a scholarship, according to a nameless voicemail of a teacher (?) in the first 5 minutes. The protagonist of the story of course falls for a girl who has her own issues and the situation with his "chill" "cool" drug supplier escalates when he's taken on more violent assignments then just selling drugs to people who want to party. The acting is fare, the story is predictable. I feel like they really missed an opportunity here.

Awesome and original but I hate movies that end this ...
Awesome and original but I hate movies that end this way when the director doesn't yet know if they'll even be able to continue the story. It takes away from its value to me! And I generally avoid them when they're that way. Other than that awesome in everyday!

Meh. Look elsewhere.
Poor Jake! He shouldn't have settled for the lead role in this dud. I'm a big fan of Latimore, and eagerly anticipate watching anything he appears in. However, this movie left me sorry I wasted my time watching it. I'm being kind giving it two stars; really.

Cliff hanger
This movie arrived in excellent condition. The quality of the sound and picture was excellent I only wish it did not end with a question hanging in the air.
