OBD2 blue tooth adapter
Handy little tool. The adapter allows access to ecu information and can clear faults. Comes with free software bud I didn't use any of them. Obd software can be found elsewhere and most I've tried have been compatible with adapter. Handy to have an app on phone for easy details when out and about. My car doesn't have a temperature guage so ofter connect to adapter on long journeys with heads up display of temp. The adapter is good but sceptical about the software being upto date and what cars they are compatible with. I opted to source my own software provider and many especially on Android provide free versions you can try. Many have most functions free and that bit more in-depth features in the paid for apps, so if you have trouble with provided apps do a quick search for another app for which ever platform you prefer.

A load of potato.
Don't waste your time. It looks like a great tool, but actually the software with the apps is crap. If your serious about doing work on your car, then buy something serious, and even for checking codes, its rubbish.

Brilliant
Connects perfectly to the app I use (Torque and Torque Pro). Reads off almost all available data and resets everything except SRS system. This works brilliantly on my phone and also my android stereo. I have it running in a VW Passat B5 2007 2.0 TDI estate with no problems.

Lost my old one
I bought this one to replace the one I lost. Tried it and it found a fault, as expected. I'll replace the sensor and we'll see if that cures the car's issue. Can't fault this device so far as it picked up the fault the car triggered. I used the Android app, Torque.
