A new twist in Giant monster action
Tether is another innovative tale from the mind that first created the Kaiju thriller genre. In many ways this book feels like one of Robinson's early works, that combined twisted science with fast paced action. Tether takes this simple premise into all new territory by mixing in giant monsters and supernatural phenomenon. When I reviewed the first Kaiju rising collection I said that combining Godzilla style action with Lovecraftian monsters was an idea full of unexplored possibilities. While not quite cosmic horror, Tether does deliver on this premise, with the strangest monsters I have ever seen in a kaiju novel The monsters in this story are Robinson's best original creations since Nemesis, and the action scenes with them are detailed and vivid. The characters are diverse and interesting and they explored directions Robinson has rarely taken his characters before. There isn't a lot else I can say without spoiling the story so I will just say that I loved this book and I really hope there is a sequel someday.

Kudos to Mr. Robinson! What a fantastic storyline!
I’ve read about six books by Jeremy Robinson and have enjoyed all of them. This one in particular reminded me of being in the front car of a roller coaster at the top of the first drop. Almost Non-stop action but not in any way overdone. An absolutely enjoyable read. I highly recommend this one.

Now that was...
What a great story, the research and work put into to this book is just mind blowing. This is my first experience with Jeremy Robinson and look forward to reading much much more from him. This was a thrill ride from the first page, and never let up. So thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend this book. Thank you.

A waste of time
I usually like stories by this author, but this story was stupid and a waste of time. I read it to the end hoping for improvement, but it did not happen.

A rare experience
I have to admit I struggled with this one a bit. It seemed to drag a bit and, more than once, I fell asleep. Reading should transport the reader and this one had a much different effect on me than I was expecting. See, I lost my wife a year ago and still see her in a lot of different things every day, none more than our daughter. What Saul experiences during the course of this book, the loss, the love, the strength he didn’t know he had, took me to a place that books rarely do and I would just like to thank JR for that.

A Kaiju ghost story
Just goes to show you never know what your spouse may be up to at work.... Wonderful story, as always, with a twist of the supernatural. A melding of love, loss, and redemption, with a warlock thrown in for flavor. These characters need more novels to develop (Hint) the ghost/Kiaju theme. If this is your first Jeremy Robinson book it will not be your last.

Just buy it and enjoy
I never read a synopsis of a Jeremy Robinson book before buying and reading. I enjoyed this book. Wasnt what I was expecting but he never ceases to amaze me with the depths of the stories he can come up with. I wont tell you about the book other then it's got action, monsters, comedy, nostalgia, and it's cheaper then other authors out there. Buy it so he can continue writing.

Disappointing!
The heading and one star review sums up my feelings about this book. I usually enjoy reading JR books but this one crossed the line into ridiculous and beyond. Characters were not engaging, plot was ludicrous and the end was tedious in the extreme for the last 50 odd pages or more.
