Pretty fast RAM, and a great buy!
Hello, Amazon Consumers, I have been searching for RAM upgrades for a while, and I have finally found them on Amazon. I own a Fujitsu laptop with an Intel chip board. I have been searching for a good RAM to upgrade with, but the cost was outrageous. This RAM states it is for an Apple Mac notebook but still has an Intel chip board. I hooked the RAM up and it works fantastic. I now have faster start up,shut down times, and application pop up times as well. Just remember to follow the instructions from the laptop manual. A helpful hint is power down completely (no hibernating), remove the battery, and replace the RAM.

Easy for a novice like myself to Install, works as described.
I'll start off by telling you that I am not a tech-savy person. With that being said, if you give me a "how to YouTube video", I can usually get the job done. I was operating with the original 1 GB of RAM that my computer shipped with. My computer had become a bit sluggish running bigger applications, so I decided it was time to stop putting off upgrading my RAM. The RAM was for my mid 2007 24 inch iMac. The RAM was easy to install. and has my computer running at full speed again. It literally feels like I am working on a different computer. If you are having any reservations about buying this RAM for an upgrade, I think you will be surprised at how simple the process is and what a big difference it will make.I recommend the following "how to YouTube video" for installing RAM. White Macbook 3,1 (Late 2007)
My Macbook has been chugging along for the last 5 years and I just recently upgraded the OS to Snow Leopard from Leopard about 2 months ago. The upgrade brought much needed support updates from Apple and freed up a significant portion of my hard drive, however it caused my computer to slow down like crazy. My Macbook has always had only 1 gig of memory (which came with the computer), and I attempted to upgrade the RAM about half a year ago with Crucial memory. That experiment failed even though I spoke to someone at Crucial who assured me their RAM would work with my computer--needless to say it didn't. I was dragging my feet on upgrading the RAM since then and finally caved since my computer became nearly unusable after my OS update. This RAM is a game-changer; it's almost as if I have a new computer now! I just installed it earlier today and programs start up much faster than I could ever remember in the past.Installation was a cinch. I was afraid to push the memory into the ports too hard, but it wouldn't install properly without a little force. If you are uncomfortable doing the installation yourself then consult youtube; there are some great videos showing you exactly what to do.My only complaint, and this is nitpicky, is that the packaging does not look like the customer provided photos above. The packaging is more generic and does not state anything about computer compatability on it.All in all, I'm extremely happy I decided to upgrade my RAM to 4gigs. Highly recommended!!!

Extended the life of an old MacBook!
Installation is a breeze and they work! What more is there? Installed these in a Late 2007 Santa Rosa MacBook which had 1GB originally.I've had the memory installed for about a month and wish I'd done it a couple years ago. I was have trouble shutting down when I had multiple apps open like Opera, Thunderbird mail, numbers. I believe the problem was to little RAM and there was a ton of page swaps(?) going on. I'd need to do Force Quit. Now the machine will shut down in a few seconds. Also switching programs sometimes hung for many seconds. Not now! Looking at memory usage now even with those programs running there is still over a GB free. I think this will keep the old MacBook useful to me for another year or two:)

Memory speed ok
The memory speed seemed to improved but not by much. However, there may be other problems with my computer though.

fine when it works.
I purchased two of these RAM sets: the first caused an immediate beep-of-death on my Mac. Amazon replaced it without question. The second worked *just long enough* for the replacement interval to lapse, then it, too, started causing intermittent crashes and death beeps. Unfortunately, by the time I found out that the second set was bad, it was too late to replace it.Kingston is usually a pretty good brand, but it seems like the quality control process for this product needs work.

No problems, work superbly
The memory works great. Bought them for my mom's 2006 macbook which was sporting a paltry 1gb memory. There are no more hangups/spinning beach balls anymore as the computer has enough memory to delegate to different programs and tasks. They were more expensive than I anticipated because they are an older version of memory...if you have a newer mac/computer, you should be able to get DDR3 memory which is better and also cheaper. But if your computer doesn't support that, then these are the most cost-effective way to improve your computer's performance.

Failed after 90 days
It's cheap but . . . after about 90 days my optical drive stopped working. I shipped my computer to Apple who did a full diagnostics. The verdict? The memory chips were failing. Replaced with Apple memory (very pricey) and everything now works as it should. Buyer beware.

11(El Capitan) and with 2G of RAM to open the system preferences it took a good 5 to 7 seconds to open
This RAM is for n iMac mid-2007. It is now much faster. I have OS10.11(El Capitan) and with 2G of RAM to open the system preferences it took a good 5 to 7 seconds to open, now it opens instantly. All other applications respond faste too.
