Worked perfectly with spoken words but haven't tried the picture of words yet to translate. Super easy to operate and well worth the investment. Makes international travel so much easier since I can learn some basic languages and use the translator for more detailed conversations that exceed my language skills. Great investment!

I got this device was really excited for my travel back and forth to Columbia. The device is so small and the touch screen is so tiny you can't put in the passwords unless it is all sevens or s-t-u those are the only are of the screen that works. It came already set to speak Chinese to English. Once again the screen was so tiny it would not let me switch it to English Spanish after turning it off and on and playing with it for a few days it finally let me switch it to English and Spanish. However, password for wifi well everyone has tried to make it work with no success. Don't waste your money!

This translator was delivered quickly and had nice packaging. Was easy to use with quick translation. However, the battery charger port would not stay connected to the charger cable. It kept falling out. I never got a 100% charge. The charger cable would not stay in the charger port. The translator does you no good if you can’t charge it. I returned it to the shipper two days later. Until the charger port issue is fixed I wouldn’t recommend this product.

This device are not so accurate. I tried to order this for my grandma in order if she need assistance with the language barrier of her maid, but i test it out. The interpretation are most likely not right. I understand that translation cannot be 100% precise but this one are way off the grid. Not recommend of use :(

I would recommend anyone steer clear of this device. The instructions are horrible, which leaves the user frustrated trying to figure out how to use the device. It is not intuitive, and what instructions there are were clearly written in China (someone needs to proofread for Western English users). The device is very cumbersome with the controls, and so frustrating that I just set it aside. Many of the languages it touts as delivering are only available if hooked up to wi-fi. Would not buy this again.

Just got back from my trip to the Philippines. I bought this so I could converse with my wife's family. I ended up needing it for more, when we decided to hire a contractor to redo our kitchen there. I found it worked very well and helped us communicate with each other. I look forward to using it more.

I'm disappointed with the offline text speech. It takes a few times for you to say what you want for it to pick it up. It feels very flimsy and delicate. The time it takes to translate is pretty long especially if you're not in Wi-Fi. Best to be in Wi-Fi at all times. A Wi-Fi that you don't have to sign into by accessing an internet screen and accepting terms and conditions. Not sure if I want to keep it.

Touch screen was hard to use and not sensitive to touch. Instructions had minimal information. Listing implied offline translation for Portuguese but only had Brazilian Portuguese for offline download.
