If you like “pocket stuff” like I do this might be for you. It is almost a fidget for me. I own a few wrist watches and may only carry this once in a while just because I have it. I haven’t had it very long so I cannot comment on durability. The face is large and numbers are easy to read.

Bought this watch for my wife so she can attach it to her purse. She can't wear a regular wristwatch because of lymphedema & allergy issues. This watch so far is doing the trick, can read it at a glance and keeps perfect timing. My wife really likes it.

My 2nd one. Been w/o a watch for years now & I decided i needed to know what time it is again! I don't own a Smartphone, & I can't tell time from the moon yet, so I like to keep a watch in my backpack while Camping & Hiking & when I'm Looking for UFO'S &/or UAP'S under the Full Moon! I believe these watches were unavailable during CORONA as well. Its nice to be back on the grid!

Purchased because I've wanted one for some time. Not intended as an every-day watch, which argued for something more basic. This fits the bill. The price at the time (around $50 IIRC) and the inclusion of a Japanese quartz movement were pluses. The movement, in the few days I've had it, appears to be reasonably accurate.It is small-ish and fairly light, which could be good or bad; it does mean that it can slip out of a tech pocket in jeans or shorts. But it's also comfortable in a main pocket.One thing I'm not overly fond of: the maker wants you to go to a watch store to replace the battery. There are no instructions to do this, or the battery size. Odds are I can find them online, of course, but it is a bit irritating. I'd really prefer no battery and a solar movement, but AFAIK the only such pocket watch is a sub-brand of Citizen, it's JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) only, and the models run considerably higher. Solar and radio-controlled might make it worthwhile...but JDM suggests the radio reception won't work in the US. So far, I've chosen not to pull the trigger; if Citizen decides to make a like one for the US market, well that might change things. (If I want to deal with the hassles of JDM, I'd much rather do it on a serious piece like an HAQ.)

It's taken me 3 1/2 years to write this belated review, but I've decided I have to let others know what a good product the Gotham Men's Gun Metal Ultra Thin Pocket Watch is. I have used this watch everyday for said period of time and it has performed flawlessly, keeping accurate time and requiring only one battery change over all these years. If you're not a wristwatch wearer (and I'm not) you'll really appreciate the Gotham Watch Company's timepiece. And if you're an avid hiker like me you'll be happy to carry this lightweight ultra slim watch. I've had heavy, bulky pocket watches in the past that felt cumbersome and unwieldy, but this Gotham watch is ideal. I've had a similar Gotham for years. It finally became undependable. So, I bought this one. It's great!When I saw the lifetime warranty that came with the new one, I thought, "Why not?" And sent the old one in. It came back running perfectly -- complete with a signed note from the person who fixed it. Now, I have two great watches.

The clock stopped keeping time correctly 2 weeks after I purchased

I'm a Tag Heuer owner who wanted a watch for the outdoors, camping, beach, etc. when I don't want to wear an expensive watch. The build quality on this Gotham is nothing more and nothing less that what you'd expect at under $100. Pleased. What gets the 5 stars is that this watch survived a drop into about 8 inches of water. Complete submersion for several seconds. 48 hours later going strong, no fogging, no condensation, no signs of interior dampness at all.It's not advertised as water proof, and I'm not suggesting you try my accidental test, but I'm pleased with how tightly constructed this watch is.
