sturdy, well made, comfy- works well for indoor exercise, Virtual Reality, & trails
Generously wide toe box, and all around wide width. Plenty of room for toes and foot bones to spread naturally. Also accommodates my genetic double bunions (bunions both side, both feet, since childhood). The soles are robust and sturdy, with good traction, yet are thin and light enough to feel a connection to the ground. And somehow not feel or look "cheap". Well done. Love the assortment of colors! I am buying another set (someone's review for the orange ones made me feel like I need a bright orange pair in my life, lol). I have the rose red knit-- which is primarily black and gray with pink laces. Love the lookI love these for indoor exercising. I often feel more comfortable going barefoot rather than putting on sneakers. I think it is because the side to side motions and quick turns just feel more safe with bare feet. These shoes allow me to feel supported, safe, and comfortable. So very much a win.If you are at all into VR/ virtual reality games or exercise apps, I find these shoes to be perfect for that too.The design I have is really attractive. The material is seemingly of quality. I love the closure-- easy slip on shoes with elastic toggle closure, BUT it also has a velcro anchor so the left over elastic isn't dangling and bouncing around. Very thoughtful. As for sizing: I have size 10-10.5 feet. I tend to buy size 11 stuff because I have long since learned that if I cant find wide width, that usually going up a size adds enough width for my needs. I chose these which are for size 10.5-11. While I think I could get a size 10 (which they have), I am perfectly fine in the 10.5-11. The looseness is manageable and comfortable, yet still secure feeling. I'd say I really only notice it in the toe area, where I have a little more room than I am used to, but everywhere else is perfect. And even the roominess at the toes isnt unsightly or awkward. So grab your actual size if they have it, or know that if in between sizes, that the next size up should still fit well.

I’ve had these for 7 months and I love them!
These shoes are awesome!! I finally felt like I should leave a review. I’ve had them since March, and I wear these almost daily. I have three pairs now. The grey, pink, and pink & black. The insole they come with feels very uncomfortable/rigid to me, so I replaced it with a softer one which makes them so comfy! They have a nice wide toe box with a decent amount of flex. I’ve ran, hiked, disc golfed, and wore these through the woods of flagstaff. They’re absolutely amazing!!! I never realized how squished my feet were in other shoes until I found these bad boys. The only reason for knocking off a star is because they are not very good in wet weather. Even though the bottom is very grippy feeling, when it comes in contact with water is becomes incredibly slippery. The grips are great for walking over rocks in dry climate though. Mind you, these are barefoot shoes, so you will feel the earth under your feet as you walk. My wool socks even fit comfortably in these. The bottoms of these have not worn much at all which is crazy for how much walking and trails I do. If you’re looking for a shoes that does almost everything, then this is it!

comfy, stable, balance
I use these in the gym while weight lifting or on the elliptical. I haven't ran in them but for indoor workouts they are great. They are flexible and hug your feet. They are comfortable and almost feel as though you have no shoes on. They are grippy to prevent falls. I love them so far. I've had them for almost a year now and they are still in good condition.

Follow the European size. They'll fit like a glove
BIG EDIT:I've worn these exclusively for a CPL weeks since I bought them. I've learned my feet aren't really all that wide, but they are relaxing and now my right shoe is tight. I had to revive the liner bc I have gotten a huge gushy juicy deep deep blister on the outside of my right heel. I'm having a hard time relearning how to walk so I don't strike my heel as hard. They were great right or if the box. They're not so great now. They feel fine (except for the pain of stepping on that blister) on our short walks around the complex. When we go on our long walks (the drug and I) we've gone on our longest walk the last 2 of the last 3 days. That is 2 miles of walking and these blisters are awful. We're only walking the 1 mile walk now until I can try this blister handled. I've ordered geweo extra wide toe box barefoot minimalist shoes. The box is great and Tommy. The heel was good. They were just a little short. So I'm waiting for the credit of the smaller shoes to buy a half size bigger.Anyway. If your feet won't spread, these are great. I can't wear them with my toe spreaders either.END OF UPDATEI've worn birks exclusively for the last 6 years and I am tired of the dark dark stripes on my feet all the time. It's just gross. So I decided to get some sneakers. EVERYBODY goes on about their Skechers. So I ordered Skechers mules bc I was worried abt the backs of shoes ravaging my virgin heels. They were too big. Then I went to a Skechers casual shoe. It was TERRIBLE! I live 3 tenths of a mile to the grocery. I went there in those shoes and had to lay down when I got back. My hips, knees, ankles, and lower back just SCREAMED! That gogamat crap is awful! So Google must have known of my struggles when it sent a vivo barefoot ad and I looked into it. There's no way I'm dropping $160 for a pair of shoes that won't last a year again. So I found these. They got here this morning and they are amazing! I immediately wore them on my dog's mid morning mile long walk. They fit like a glove, they do not chafe or rub anywhere. The only thing I'm not super pleased abt is the back edge of the right side of the right shoe rolls inward when I put the shoe on and they fit so well I have a really hard time getting my finger in there to roll it back up. It takes a lot of effort.I'm a 37eu. Birks said that is 6-6.5. this maker called it a 6.5-7. the label inside says 37 and it's the best fitting shoe I've ever worn. Some of the reviews I read other places and the blogs I read said you needed to build up to wearing these. If you've worn birks, there is no need to adjust. I'm guessing it's just a warning if you've come from regular shoes.Buy these!

Amazing barefoot running shoe but size differs depending on colour!!
I’m adding to my original review below…I’ve worn the dark grey ones for a few months and the size is perfect. I ordered the all black ones to have another pair but the style is a bit different and they are a snugger fit. Still awesome, but I recommend going up a size if you are buying the all black style. I will be returning them and purchasing the next size. I’ve been a barefoot distance runner for years running in the Merrel Trail and Vapour Gloves. They changed the design and fit of those shoes and they were no longer comfortable. After I broke a bone in my foot, I feared barefoot running was over for me.I decided to give these a try as they seemed to offer a touch of extra padding under the big toe (where my injury was), while still maintaining a barefoot feel. I found them true to size with extra room in the toe box…which is necessary when barefoot running as your toes need ample room to splay naturally without feeling confined. This was an amazing feature compared to the Merrel barefoot shoes which are VERY narrow. They are very much a barefoot shoe but offer a slight amount of cushion under the big toe and heel which make your feet very happy. They are breathable and don’t smell at all. I recommend airing them out after each run…meaning don’t keep them sealed in a gym bag or cupboard and you won’t have any issues. I have never worn socks (which you shouldn’t in barefoot shoes) and have accumulated about 150 miles worth of running in them in the last 4 months. They don’t smell AT ALL and they look brand new! I couldn’t be happier with them. I’ve never gotten a blister or formed calluses as I have in other barefoot shoes. The interior is nice and soft. The price point is the cherry on top! Half the price of other barefoot shoes on the market!!I’m buying another pair to add to my collection.Don’t hesitate to buy these because they are inexpensive, they are a quality and comfortable barefoot shoe!!Happy running!!

IDEAL FOR WIDE FEET - ORDERED 7.5-8 in GREEN
WOW!! These were a good purchase. Am usually an 8-8.5 in most shoes, I ordered the 7.5-8 and they fit PERFECTLY. I have a wide foot and these literally fit like a glove. I decided on the green color and am equally satisfied with it, true to colour in real life as it was on my screen. As soon as the black and purple version come back in stock I am definitely going to treat myself to a pair.

Really comfy, better than Merrell
I got these when I couldn't find the same model of barefoot Merrell running shoes that I had before, chancing it that a much cheaper pair might be OK.Initially I didn't like them as much, I thought they were rubbing slightly on the outer side of one foot. (This is my larger foot which was as a result of a calcaneal fracture years ago). But having stuck with them, I now love them. I have wide feet, and can be anywhere between 6 and 7, but I ordered 6.5 and they are great (though 7 would probably have been fine too). I always wear them with trainer socks. They are so comfortable. I think the sole is more foot shaped than the old Merrells, which is good. The bottom is slightly thinner, I think, but still thick enough that stony paths are not hurting the bottoms of your feet.I do loads of stuff in these, from dog walking, to running, to long hilly hikes. No problems at all. Obviously they would not be great in very wet, muddy, or boggy conditions, but having said that, I got my feet soaked in them stepping in a bog on the moor top, and they didn't rub despite still having 2+ miles to go. When running, they will make you run toe to heel without thinking about it, which means your knees do not take as much impact. With having had a serious foot fracture and uneven posture for years, I really think barefoot shoes have helped me strengthen my bad foot, because you have to use your feet muscles more (sometimes consciously), and not be reliant on the buoyancy of regular trainers. The extra effort has helped me to even out my posture, and even up the size of that calf muscle in comparison to my other calf.Barefoot trainers typically have thinner soles than regular trainers, which means they will wear out quicker. Which means you will have to replace them more often. Which means that I'm happy with the lower cost of these, compared to Merrell's barefoot shoes.Having worn barefoot shoes now for the last 2 or 3 years, I wouldn't go back to normal trainers. I would be very happy to buy these again when the soles wear out. I would recommend, even if you only want them for slobbing around the house, they are really comfy! Also, I think they would be fine if you put them in the washing machine, though I've not tried that yet.
