To start, don't listen to the negative reviewers who can't take care of their items, who've said the speaker was falling out, or something extreme. It's not a baseball bat nor a real lightsaber, you can't just hit things with it full swing.... it's a toy.I, for one, very much enjoy this saber! I own a Kyber saber that I purchased off Amazon and I find this saber has more vibrant colors, options, and a nice brightness. It's lightweight, well balanced, sturdy, and has a pretty strong sound. It has a great blaster fire reflect feature, the flash on clash is awesome, great swing sound fx sensation, and overall a great saber! I also love the red aluminum! Highly recommend if you're looking for a decent priced saber with an interesting finish!

The media could not be loaded.  I remember first time watching Star Wars and I was mesmerized by the light sabers in the movie and wished i had one to play with.... Wish didn't come true until now... haha... anyway, this was a pretty cool "adult" toy and pretty expensive too (it wouldn't be safe to let kids play with this, i think it'll be too fragile for young kids under 8 years old, they'd break it easily). For me, I think this is a pretty well designed lightsaber, it looks sleek, very much alike the one from the movies, pretty light weight, probably weights about 1 lb max. The handle is made of thick aluminum. It comes with a single rechargeable AA battery and a USB cable to charge it. There's only single button on the lightsaber that serves multiple functions. To turn on/off, you'll need to hold it for more than 3 seconds. Once turns on, you'll hear sound clips from Star Wars movie and the lightsaber switches color and flashing as you pressing on the button. I find that the speaker is way too loud though, but since they kinda leave a 1 inch hallow between the speaker and the end of the lightsaber, i added some cotton ball there to lower the volume in half. This would be a great add on for this coming Halloween, I might dress up as Darth Vader with it :)

Well, I'm going to give this item three stars.It arrived on time, and charged up quickly, and it's nice and bright - realistic looking.But the sound effects are very loud.Also, it won't change color the way it's supposed to. The only color I ever get is pink. When I press the button to try and make it change color it just flashes on and off.Other than that, it's fun. Probably not the best saber, though. Wish it would change color like it was supposed to and wish it wasn't so darn loud.EDIT - Had to return it, unfortunately. It suddenly just stopped working altogether. I was willing to put up with the noise, and willing to put up with it not changing color - but it just stopped working. I didn't have it very long. I'm disappointed. Oh well. I got a refund.

I waited, with baited breath, for this to be delivered on my husbands birthday. I've run out of most Star Wars themed gifts to give him - I've made him a death star cake for our wedding - i made him a huge collectibles wall/shelf - you name it, if it's legit, he has it.So the time had come - to get this grown 43 year old man a more realistic lightsaber. A testament of my love, really, spending over a hundred bucks on a toy for a grown man. And there he was, opening it up, transformed into a first grader with a Return of the Jedi metal lunch box, swinging around this lightsaber like it was the 80s all over again. He loves the heft, the impact sounds, etc. just a look of pure joy.Unfortunately, the first lightsaber, i think it had gotten banged around a bunch by the delivery driver because he definitely did not care that this long amazon box had a lightsaber in it, and the lightsaber didn't change colors, as if maybe they'd knocked a connection loose. I got a replacement and it works perfectly so maybe just give it a good look over and attempt to change the colors with the buttons before gifting it, if you have that kind of time.

Complete garbage. This is not a duel worthy saber. It says medium to heavy grade dueling, but if you hit this with any kind of force it'll probably snap. This is due to it being thin-walled and 7/8" instead of the one inch that's advertised in the details. Hilt feels fine but I have to send it back after not even having it a full day because the chasis was overheating so quickly and so badly that I could smell that the wires were burning. I would say it's fine if you want to get something for your kid, but the internals would probably overheat too soon for them to really enjoy it. Also, the LED is very weak and so is the speaker. If you want a duel-worthy lightsaber, go to Rebel Sabers, Saberforge, or Vader's Vault, or find a reputable independent saber smith. Even for a hundred dollars this is a pitiful excuse of a lightsaber.

It's a decent saber, stands up well in battle. Battery life is good. It's only drawback is its difficult to not change colors when fighting and picking sounds and volume in nearly impossible. I wish I'd just picked a single color saber like I got my grandsons. Theirs are louder and hold up well in battle with longer battery life.

Very pleased. Bright good for light dueling. Has a nice wow factor on appearance.The grooves on the grips are slightly sharp but can be worked down yourself. Sound is decent but speaker has a muffled hum. Comes with several different light and sound set ups. Battery lasts about 20 mins.
