Clear Acrylic Circle Round Disc Every Thickness and Diameter Available

Bought this for my son's bedside table to protect the top from spills, etc. and it's perfect! The table is actually 21.5", I bought the 21" diameter size and it works just fine.

This Acrylic plate worked out great for my latest do-it-yourself project. Used it to make a custom diffuser for a very rare 1960s Italian art lighting fixture. The original was glass and broke many years ago. Our client was thrilled to have a new one made.Two notes in particular.1- It's extremely strong. Far more than you'd ever imagine. We had to drill four holes in it. We broke three drill bits in the process. We eventually had to water cool it and drill a series of expanding pilot holes.2- It's so scratch resistant that it took us over an hour per side to frost it with a palm sander! I had no idea how durable this was going to be.This thing is bulletproof!

I bought these two to help me in cake decorating and they are perfect. I use them to get perfect top and sides on my ganached cakes or buttercream cakes. With one on the bottom and one on the top, using them for a guide with a warm spatula, I can get perfectly smooth and level tops and sides every time.

Bought this light fixture from Pier One. It was originally a pendant plug in, but I wanted it as a ceiling light. Once hung the interior bulbs/fixtures were WAY TOO visible & bright...just overall ugly. The acrylic round I ordered was perfect formy application. Was light enough that it's just fastened with magnets hanging from the frame and the protective film worked excellently to serve as a frosted glass effect.Now the pendant is MUCH more pleasing to the eye and the light is diffuse and perfect. Would highly recommend this product to any DIY folk out there.

If you are wondering whether 1/16th of an inch is sturdy, I can tell you it is. More so than you might think. It doesn't flex or bend when handled, and it is actually thick enough to be Dremeled, if you need to "engrave" it somehow.The discs are covered with plastic film on both sides, and the film is a bit of a pain to remove---so do yourself a favor and grab a pair of tweezers right away---it will save you some frustration.

After watching many professional bakers using the acrylic disc I wanted to give it a try. I bought this product since it was in my budget range and had decent reviews. Yes, the quality is good and it came packaged very well without any scratches. But, I felt it was thinner than expected and may not bear tough handling. Especially while using a knife to slide under the disc after chilling the cake.I’m not sure yet about the durability for the purpose I need it for. It gave my cake perfectly smooth and sharp edges which are every bakers dream. I’m pretty happy but wish it was thicker and sturdier.

UPDATE: The first time I wrote this review it was rejected by Amazon because I told the truth, which is against Amazon policy if it's not what they want to hear, so here it is again. After successfully purchasing thousands of items thru Amazon, this was my first Amazon review EVER, because I was so disappointed. It's hard to review a product that arrives damaged because the manufacturer has no idea how to properly package the item to protect it during transport:48" diameter x 1/4" inch thick plexiglass sheet was shipped in two thin pieces of cardboard box without a single FRAGILE or DO NOT BEND warning label on it. Cringed when I found this U-shaped package leaning on my front door. Opened it up to find it was cracked into at least four pieces. Don't know why anyone would ship plexiglass like this.
