Simple and perfect!!!
Dude I am so impressed and disappointed that I never thought to look up something like this haha. I am in my late 30s, a nightshift nurse and I need my protein and something convenient for me. It’s so simple! Followed the instructions from opening the box to the end. Perfect. From reviews it’s important to clean the water heat tray regularly though for maintenance, so I will do.

Live this egg cooker.
I love this egg cooker. Eggs are boiled in 18 minutes and peel perfectly. I can do 7 eggs at a time. I add 1/4 cup of water and in 18 approximate minutes I have perfect, easy to peel eggs. Need to let them cool a little before you peel them. Great price. Will be giving this to my kids for Christmas. Have not tried to poach or scramble the eggs yet, but have made boiled eggs, twice.

I like it
Update: i figured out the button. Its a very manual button that functions mechanically, not electronic lyrics. Meaning if the button is still pressed in when you plu it in, it stays in the on position, so it will be on as soon as you plug it in. Today I made 3 hard boiled eggs and they turned out perfectly. I used the amount of water the cup said to use and I'm finding that the trick on this thing is not to assume anything is done with the first beep, indicating it's complete. I let this go through 3 beep cycles and the eggs were perfectly hard cookied. One note, based on reviews of these egg cookers, i was expecting the water measurer to have a pin on the end to Pierce the egg shells before cooking but this set dis not have one. I did Peirce the shells with a thumb tack to allow pressure to release during cooking.I like it. Takes some trial and error to get it right. I made a 2 egg omelet with onion, cheese and lunchmeat chopped up and followed the instructions exactly and on the first alarm, it was way undercooked. Still very runny. Found out that a second and a third alarm will chime giving it more cooking time. But the instructions lead you to believe after the first alarm that the watter has all evaporated. But the omelet eventually came out well cooked and a wonderful texture. The omlet dish is tricky to pick up and flip the eggs out but no sticking at all. It came right out. Last, I'm not sure what the power button is for lol. You plug it in and it comes on. Never pushed the button. My first dish so we will keep playing with it but so far I'm really happy with it.

Great for Hard Boiled Eggs, Not So Much for "Omelettes"!
The Hamilton Beach 3-in-1 Electric Egg Cooker is a handy little gadget that makes life easier—at least if you’re sticking to hard boiled or “fried” eggs. It cooks them perfectly without the need to hover over the stove like an egg babysitter, which is a huge win in my book.Hard boiled eggs turn out great, not much to say here. Now, about the “omelet” function… let’s just say it’s more of a scrambled egg with toppings than a proper omelet. It’s round, flat, and not exactly foldable. If you’re expecting a fluffy, foldable masterpiece, you’ll be disappointed. But if you’re okay with a scrambled egg pancake, it’ll do the job.Overall, this cooker shines when it comes to no-fuss hard boiled and “fried” eggs. Just set it up, press the button, and let it do its thing. For busy mornings or lazy weekends, it’s a solid kitchen companion—just don’t count on it for gourmet omelets. The fried and poached eggs have a slight rubbery texture, however.Bottom line: Great for simple, unsupervised egg cooking, but don’t expect culinary magic. Stick to hard boiled or “fried” eggs, and you’ll be cracking up with satisfaction!

Easy eggs
We have used this to make both hard boiled and medium boiled eggs. Both versions came out perfectly. Easy to use. You just use the included measuring cup to add the correct amount of water for the desired egg type, turn the unit on, and wait for it to beep a few minutes later when done.

Buy It! Don't hesitate, it's worth it!
I can absolutely cook a perfectly hard-boiled egg so when my girlfriend told me about the Hamilton Beach 3 in 1 egg cooker I thought to myself that it was a waste of money. She said it was super easy and basically talked me into it (inexpensive purchase.)Months later I used it and afterwards I just couldn't wait to leave a review -- This is AWESOME! Super easy to use, clean up is virtually nothing and most importantly, perfectly cooked eggs.I'm going to tell everyone!

You need to purchase a separate egg piercing tool…
This egg cooker no longer comes with a tool to pierce the eggs. If you don’t pierce before boiling, about half of them crack while cooking. So I recommend purchasing a separate piercing tool if you want your eggs to come out with no cracks.
