Chef Select Jelly Strainer Set

well I was ready to write an ugly review....but...changed my mind. took over 10 days to get here...so being a need it yesterday person, I was unhappy from the get go. Opened the box and looked good...put it together and it fell over and tilted and everything....no instructions included I might add... but realized the error of my ways and redid the legs....do NOT thread all the way.... and was still thinking...junk. Then used it to freeze bananas...put the one gallon freezer bag over the top (make sure the container you sit it on is a bit bigger than the leg spread) and it worked great...loaded the bags with 5 sliced bananas with no give from the strainer... I freeze lots of bananas for smoothie etc.... at any rate .. it is a keeper, but do check you do NOT THREAD LEGS ALL THE WAY.

I make a lot of homemade stuff. I have used 3 different jelly strainers. Either they were to flimsy to hold what I put in, or the bags that go with them were to small and took hours longer than they should to drain. These are great. Metal so it will hold up and the bags are just right. Also replacement bags are super cheap, which I cant honestly say about the one I got from kitchen kraft.

This product makes it so much easier to make jelly. While it's not absolutely necessary, it does make the process much easier. And it will last a lifetime, so it's a good investment. I highly recommend.

I could have used cheesecloth to better advantage. One of the legs arrived broken. The bag did not stay on the holder. i was very disappointed.

Does not stand up well on its own. Used the bags got rid of the frame. Very flimsy.

Good product well packaged. Easy to assemble and sturdy.
