OSCA 12" Machinist's Hammer, OS104P312

The hammer came on time as promised.Very good quality.It's little on a small side, smaller than expected.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I was tired of looking for a hammer at Lowe’s so I ordered this after I stumbled on to this. Good quality materials and well balanced.

Really a good little hammer.

Very well made and comfortable to use.

The steel is nice but the woodwork leaves something to be desired. Mine too was not epoxied on the end. Having said that, one might conclude that this is the new normal and not what is depicted in the above description.

Very well finished, great value for the money. Highly recommend.

As a marine engineer, I was looking forward to finally get a proper hammer, of a good European standard, when I received my hammer today.Whereas it seems to be a great hammer, I’m rather disappointed with 2 things in respect to quality:1) The round wedge was mounted in a dry shaft, which is now all cracked up, only waiting for splinters to fall out.2) The epoxy sealant that was supposed to be on top of the shaft, and which could help prevent the splinters to fall out, is missing.Update 22nd January - It has been 7 days since I posted this review, and I haven't heard from the seller. The hammer has now been returned in exchange for another, and then I have to see if the seller takes any notice!Lack of reply means I have taken away 1 of the 2 stars I originally gave.Update 25th January - Still haven't heard from the seller. received the replacement hammer today. It still cracked and still not sealed with epoxy as advertised! - Should I keep it! - I think I will try to contact the seller through Amazon and see what they have to say 🤔
