The Cats Like It
Have had it for a while now. Keep it upstairs so it doesn't get used as much as the ones next to the sofa. But it really comfortable to hold and it does a good job.

Pixikko Stainless Steel Cat Comb
This is a wonderful cat comb and probably it could be used for dogs as well. The configuration of the two lengths of teeth seem make the difference between this comb and the one I've used for years, a flea comb with one-length teeth quite close together, which accumulates lots of loose hair but it pulls badly. The longer teeth of the Pixikko comb seem to lift and slightly fluff my cat's undercoat, while at the same time the shorter teeth smooth the top coat, and there's little drag or pulling as long as I hold the comb flat against her skin and don't go too fast. My cat has a medium-long coat and there's the chance of knotting (which used to happen when she was younger, before I changed her diet to Young Again for cats). Since she likes being groomed with this comb, she allows me to do it more often. It's not cheap, but it's very sturdy and (I hope) will last a long time. The handle is a comfortable diameter and is made from non-slip material so it doesn't twist in my hand while I'm combing her.

Best Cat Comb Ever!
This comb arrived yesterday and I combed my long-haired cat Coco Dos and she loves it! She is a diva and loves to be combed and brushed first thing every morning, and then whenever I walk in the bedroom during the day she races in and jumps up on the bed and meows for me to groom her some more. So she had already been combed and brushed three times yesterday and this comb got a handful MORE fur from her! The teeth of the comb really get deep down to the undercoat, and she loves the feel of it. I don't comb her really hard of course but it is not necessary with this comb. Just comb your cat gently and you will be surprised how effectively it lifts loose fur. With summer coming and shedding season here, this is a great choice. I was surprised at how affordable it was because I've spent more on combs that were nowhere near as good as this one. As the owner of a tremendously pampered cat, I totally recommend this product!

One Great Product!!
One great product! Bought to work through my cat's long dense hair coat. Her coat is 4" with a heavy under coat. Mat City!! Wow!This comb really picks up her hair coat and snags the mats so they can be easily removed - I use a thinning shear to remove the big snarls. Then, tried this on my old cat who is unable to groom himself, it works okay on his short coat to grab up loose fur when run parallel to his body, a bit awkward, but he is not a fan of being brushed! I was so pleased with this product, that I purchased 2 of these combs for gifts to my friends with long haired cats both of whom were having grooming issues with their kitties hair coats. Rave reviews! Have recently purchased a second comb for myself to leave in separate cat grooming area. This product truly lifts and removes dead hair.

Great for long-haired cats
This comb works really well to get mats out of a long-haired cat. It's comfortable to hold. When I comb my cats, I put the wisps of hair into a jar so it doesn't fly around while I'm combing, and then I use the end of the handle to tamp it down so it doesn't stick to my hands. It works great. I've tried all sorts of other combs & brushes and this one works the best.

A comb that makes my cat happy
I made a move away from those wire brushes because my cat would only stand for a brushing for about 2 minutes and then he'd move away. Switching to this comb was a move I should have done long ago. My cat Loves it! I will quit combing him before he's done with the session. It grabs lots of hair and hangs onto it. It even gets down into my cat's undercoat. The only reason why this is not 5 stars is because the comb creates quite a bit of static. I don't know if this is avoidable as a comb designer. But that's really my only issue. It's a great comb.

Removes loose for from long haired cats
Removes a lot of fur. Long tines good for long hair. A little hard on cats skin. They don’t like it like plastic tines.

Cats and Dogs benefit from this shedding comb
I'm using this on cats and curly long-haired dogs! This is great for getting down to the undercoat and pulling out dead fur and hair. It was so good to help my furry friends get rid of their old coats when the weather stayed at 100 degrees earlier this summer. The handle allows for a solid grip and it doesn't slip like all-metal combs do. I used to use a plastic rattail comb from the beauty supply but they snapped and lost teeth - this stainless steel version will last longer and perform so much better.
