I have been experimenting with solar power for 6 years. Started out with 4 solar panels at 100 watts each . I bought 10 auto batteries at about $90.00 each and never could get them to run my freezers and a refrigerator overnight. After the first year the batteries got weaker each year. I bought 4 more panels but by then my batteries were real weak . I decided to try lithium batteries and bought a 200 amp battery and right away there was hope! These batteries have a longer life. I didn’t seek the advice from the Ampertime customer service. I bought a 300 amp battery and hooked it up to the 200 amp battery. Didn’t work and I decided to call customer service. Good decision! The girl I emailed was very knowledgeable and explained to me I couldn’t hook different size batteries to each other . She was so helpful in arranging return approval, even sending me a empty box to ship it back. Customer service is great at Ampere Time and my tech especially, her name is Laura and has walked me through the process of testing the batteries . She had me check how much load my freezers and refrigerator used and how long I wanted to run them. Living in Michigan we have several time during the year we don’t get much sun so I think 4 days as my run time. She is fingering out how many amp battery’s I need. The system is working now , the first time in six years. I can’t say enough kind words for all the help she has been. Amperetime does not just sell you a battery then desert you. These batteries would be great in a motor home or camper. I am sold on Amperetime batteries and customer service. I am trying to be prepared for whatever may happen and I don’t want to louse my food because we lost power and at $5.00 a a gallon I can’t run a generator that much .

Compatible with H.P. {just to sure take off your old battery and take a picture of the spare number its way easier to expand the picture} easy to replace the battery. the new battery charged super fast. No tool kit needed.

At first it seemed this battery was working fine, but after about a month, it did not want to hold a charge past 69%, and now it will only charge to 6%, only after unplugging and plugging back in, then immediately starts to drop. I have done all troubleshooting steps needed, unplugged, removed, resinstalled and restarted system to see if it would charge correctly but it doesn't. Diagnostics on my laptop says needs replacing, bad batters. Do not recommend this one.

UPDATE: I may have gotten a defective product but at this point, I'm not sure that I could recommend this battery.This was delivered Dec 12, today is Dec 29 and at first it was only charging to 95%. Now even plugged in, it continues to drop down. It is down to 89% right now. I have not left it plugged in all the time. I unplug it to use it and let it run down, then recharge it. At first, when received it would only charge up to 95%. It will charge to the full 100% now but does not hold, even when plugged in.
