Mr Bruff’s Guide to Frankenstein Paperback – 9 July 2017

Very happy with these easy-to-use, clearly laid out, and enjoyable revision guides. We bought 5 different revision guides from the Mr Bruff range to support our 15 year old in preparing for their GCSE English (Language & Literature exam). The free eBooks (downloadable with proof of purchase) and interactive elements further enrich the learning benfits. Youtube videos available too. Delighted to recommend to students and parents alike.

Mr Bruff is most certainly an amazing revision tool for AQA English pupils. These books are fantastic, however, if you watch Mr Bruff on youtube, you will see that these guides are essentially a transcript of his uploads with a few hidden gems. Mixed feelings on this one. Delivered when promised.

Absolutely brilliant. I am using this for A level and this is really good for A02 and A03. Mr Bruff has a great insight and a explains things very well. Reading this is a great starting place for revision.Knowledge is knowing that Frankenstein isn't the monster. Wisdom is realising that he is.

One of the most helpful books to gain insight on the play

The books are SO helpful. My grade has gone up from a middling 6 to a high 8 edging on a 9! (these are the new GCSE grades incase people are wondering - google it if you need to). The guides these guides take you through the book with great incite and exploration of the text. They have made the exams seem a lot less daunting to me as everything is explained clearly and thoroughly. Currently working my way through essay plans for the literature papers and asking my teachers to make questions for both language and literature papers (using the e-Books to advise how to answer the questions with great standard).I've actually recommended these to some of my classmates and they are constantly coming back to tell me how much of a lifesaver Mr Bruff is for their exams!

I'm very happy with the book, gives detailed ideas and suggests good points to get marks in the exam.

Another great book by Mr Bruff; A bargain! The original text plus details analysis of various topics, chapters, characters, genre, etc. Being in *.pdf form makes its easy to bookmark pages and annotate any notes (i use preview on a mac). The book is a good read will help you get into an "exam mode" of thinking.
