Great Find!
Works like a charm. I was looking for something to holdup my string lights for a party and I found this.It was easy to put up. There are a number of tubes that slide perfectly into each other and there are grooves to hold the lights in place at the top. I had to really secure it in the ground knowing kids maybe pulling/ pushing and playing around it. The prongs really helped it stay in one place. I have to say it did not move for the length of the party.Afterwards the pole was easy to disassemble and put away for another time. I was pleasantly surprised. Very strong and sturdy. Great find!

Sturdy and purpose solved!!!
I have a small patio deck in my backyard and a big lawn. I wanted to get some lights installed in the backyard for my back yard parties. I looked in some home improvement store and found that it will be somewhere around $500 for a permanent solution but this too much for lights only. So I started looking for some feasible solution and found this. I thought of giving this a try. The pole came in pieces and it was very easy to assemble. Everything is clearly marked and easy to screw in each other. Once the pole was ready, I just had to dig it into the ground. It tool little power and the pole was deep in the soil. I put my LED lights on the pole and everything was done in almost no expense. Planning to buy one more so that I can make a square of lights around the patio deck.

Great for the price
These are very well priced compared to similar products. The poles come in multiple sections so can select the length that works best for you. They have a small metal flap on top of the c-hook to hold the lights strands on better. I put mine near a fence and did need to brace them against the fence so there would stand up straight.

A Bit flimsy
This product came quickly, is aesthetically pleasing. It is likely best suited to act as a support for a string of lights going in a linear fashion. I used it as a terminal post/pole and it seems to curve a bit to support the out-and-back- stand of lights. It has held up adequately, just appears a bit wonky due to curve of pole. iI is hollow and arrives in 6 equal length parts that screw into each other. It has a spike base, like a two 5" tines that you push into the ground to secure the base. the post slides into the base and is secured with a butterfly screw. I will continue using it through the winter and perhaps explore a solid pipe in the future.

Flimsy design
First, the pole sections do not fit tightly to provide stability. I had to leave out two sections and use the shorten version in order to minimize the instability of the pole. I also had to devise my own secure method by inserting one long tree support I happened to have inside the connected pole parts. Very flimsy. If I didn't need it right away or could not come up with a creative method to hold the pole together I would have returned it.

Anchor
Holds up my patio lights perfectly across the back but wish the pole was more sturdier...bends at the top because it's holding 2 long strings!
