Review after one day of use: (Do check back, I will update)Absolutely worth every penny. Let's get the main thing out of the way: The image quality is absolutely brilliant wide open. I tested it across 5 lens - The 16-35 f/4L, 24-105 f/4L, 100mm f/2.8L, 70-200 f/2.8L II and the cheapo 50mm f/1.8. All the f/4 lens are now equivalent to f/2.8, the f2.8 lens is equivalent to f/2 and the f1.8 lens is now an f/1.2. Wide open, the quality ranges from acceptable to excellent. Acceptable on the 50mm, excellent on all the L glass.Whatever loss in quality is fixed by stopping down to the native f stop. For example, the 50mm f/1.8 becomes a 35mm f/1.2 with some loss in sharpness, contrast and some minor halo and much better bokeh. However stopping it down to f/1.8 fixes everything. What you're left with is a proper 50mm (full frame equivalent) This is the true use of this adapter. While the additional stop of light is useful, where you will truly benefit is losing the 1.6 crop factor. The framing between my primary 5D Mark 3 and Mirrorless M50 are now almost the same. And I love this.Also, if you have a large collection of L series lens like I do and have a mirrorless Canon, this adaptor is a no-brainer. Imagine a 70-200mm f/2L IS USM. That's crazy. Inage quality is more than acceptable and the added stop of light plus the improved bokeh is worth whatever little you trade off. Even better, my walkaround lens, the 24-105 is now f/2.8. And very usable at f/2.8. Cannot ask for more. If you do not have L but do carry EF lens, this adapter is still worth it.Now that, that is out of the way, let's quickly look at some of the other factors:Autofocus speed is affected. But only ever so slightly. In real world usage, this will not be noticed.Build quality is excellent. There is no play. Twists onto the camera with a reassuringly creamy feeling. Same with the lens side. Tripod mount is solid and works as designed. You need an allen key (not included) to remove it. I left it on.There is a micro usb port to update firmware.Flare characteristics are affected. There is more flare. But only if you shoot facing a light source.All things considered, for 14K, this lets you use all of your EF mount lens on your Canon Mirrorless. And not in a gimmicky way. The combination is actually usable with great image quality.I will add more to this review over the coming months. Including pics shot across all the lens wide open and stopped down. Plus we'll see if it stands the test of time. The seller hasn't mentioned a warranty but the package does say you're eligible for 6 months of additional warranty if you post a review. Which means there is some duration of warranty provided as default.Update 1: Added Bokeh comparisonsImage 1: 50mm f/1.8 at f/1.2Image 2: 50mm f/1.8 at f/1.8Update 2: Image quality is brilliant. Extremely sharp in the centre of the frame. Some softness at edges. The edge softness should is not something worth bothering as in normal life, we tend to shoot 3D objects. And at f/1.2 this is incredible. I could however stop down and take photos etc. Removing and refitting the lens fixed that and the aperture opened up to 1.2.Almost no noticeable drop in focus speed. Highly recommended.

The built quality of this adapter is superb and The speed booster allows us to use a EF mount lens on our Canon M50 and gives us a larger aperture. It worked well in low light and the boca was really good.The autofocus and all other features worked perfectly.I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to increase the amount of lenses they can use.

EOS KISS M2を購入し、手持ちのEFレンズ資産を活用する為に購入しました。別途canon純正のEF-EOS Mアダプターもありますが、こちらの商品はEFレンズをほぼフルサイズ画角のまま使うことが出来ます。さらに凄いのが絞りが１段分明るく認識されます。手持ちのEF 24-105mm F4 IS USM Ⅱをセットし使いましたが、見事に開放2.8で認識。静止画撮影でも問題なく、さらには動作撮影でも普通に稼働しました。撮影データをPCに取り込む際はカメラ名が不明となってしまいますが、その程度の作業は負担にならないので対応可かと思います。kiss M2でAPS-C画角を必要としない方にとっては、EFマウントアダプターはこれだけでも良いかと思います。

キヤノン EOS M(EF-M) Booster 0.71Xを、まだレビューがなかったので、人柱覚悟で購入しました。・絞りが一段階明るくなる、ということでしたが、ごく一部のレンズだけで、私の手持ちのレンズでは一本だけ対応していて、残りのレンズは全て明るくなりませんでした。レンズをかなり選ぶようです。・周辺減光が派手に出ます。特に望遠のLレンズ。Lレンズほど周辺減光が派手という、少し残念な形です。せっかく購入しましたが、お蔵入り決定でした。
