Some reviews on Amazon criticize this book for being poorly written. While it's evident that the author is not a professional writer maybe, I liked his writing style a lot. It's like a transcript of a lecture, where he talks to you in more informal way, and poses questions that make you think. That's exactly what I need, as I was not looking for workshop in literary style but for information on starting a business. The book gives a lot of tips on what to start with if you're completely new to entrepreneurship and don't have a lot of funds or human capital at your disposal. There are tips on websites and services that help you find elements of the puzzle that you miss in your team, like legal aspects, tech outsourcing, etc. While the book gives a broad outline of a process of startup conception and business idea generation, I consider it very helpful as it contains intelligent analysis of situation and gives you directions of what to do next. Featured entrepreneurs provide great examples to discussed concepts. Very inspirational and helpful.

Dr. Greens book is a great read for aspiring entrepreneurs. Through out the book, Dr. Green provides great examples and statistics on lots of the different aspects of entrepreneurship. I've been studying business and entrepreneurship for over 2 years independently, and this book definitely changed my perspective on a lot of important factors. Definitely worth the money, and I recommend Dr. Green's Coursera online class as well!

Great read and well put together on a very interesting subject for those that are looking for a way to compete in the real world. Not too complex but has lots of good strategies that one can implement to get ahead of the completion.

I have been an entrepreneur most of my working career. I found very little useful and as a writer, thought it poorly written and structured. I found the recommendation to use cheap writing/art services such as Fiverr very disheartening -- as these do not provide fair wages for quaity work.

This book provided a good base of things to think about and account for when starting a business. The content in this book is not only useful for entrepreneurs but anyone starting a project or initiative.

I highly recommend it to those who want to start their own business and they don't know where to start.

Te amplia el panorama de lo que implica trabajar por cuenta propia y en qué debes enfocarte para que tu idea de negocio tenga mayores probabilidades de éxito. Su lectura te ahorrará algunos errores muy comunes.

I read a prerelease version I received when taking a Coursera course - purchased a copy to show support and for reference. I find it an excellent source to help structure ideas. Also hits entrepreneur blind spots - an entrepreneur with a great idea still needs to go through a structured thought process to determined if the idea can be profitable.

Useful book on opportunity analysis, has to be used in conjunction with his coursera courses, at times a little basic.
