This product has been great so far. It was a little bit difficult removing the old battery. This new battery definitely lasts longer. It fit into the phone with no issues. Still works on my wireless charger. It's been a little over 2 weeks with no complaints at all.

after nearly a decade my phones battery randomly puffed upluckily the puffing up actually made the phone partially disassemble so it was super quick and easy to take it apart while following the tutorial videos onlineit came with some low quality tools but luckily i had my own to make the process much easierreassembled it and had to use my own new adhesive to keep it together, unfortunately this kit didn't include any for some reasonbut charged it up and it's good as new!

Battery work only a month. Than it’s stop working. Unfortunately after return window closed. Battery stopped.

Works perfect, but be prepared, it is somewhat a pain in the ass to replace.My past phones, the back cover just snapped right off and the battery popped right in (was done in 10 seconds). Sadly, this is not that simple with the S8 and S8 plus (far from it).The good news is that this package includes all the tools needed for the task; however, you might as well go ahead and purchase a new replacement back cover. It is very delicate and will break if you have to sneeze or fart while prying (mine did).I had to take a hair dryer to heat the back cover (very hot) to loosen the glue, then stick the included suction cup on back cover, pull very hard, create a tiny gap to get the prying tool under, then pry all the way around.This is the step where I lost my religion, cracked my back glass, and said a few words.There are quite a few super, super tiny screws to remove in order to remove the battery connection that will also add to the stress level, especially if you aren't near-sighted.All in all, I was able to get the job done and I'm pleased with the product. I hope it lasts a very long time as I don't plan to replace the battery again.

Just wanted to inform everyone that the actual battery rating is lower than advertised. The battery I received was a 3500 not 3800, so slightly less battery life.My original Samsung Galaxy S8+ battery was bulging out and causing the back glass plate to stick out. I bought this kit to replace the battery. Overall it worked well. Packaged nicely and came with the tools & parts needed to replace the battery. Directions are not printed out, but they do provide a link to a detailed video tutorial on Youtube. There are also several other tutorials that you can use, they're all pretty similar.The toughest parts are removing the back plate, just be careful, heat up the adhesive using a hair dryer, and use the plastic tool to loosen the adhesive. Go slowly, the adhesive is pretty strong. Do not try to pry it off until you have confirmed that all of the adhesive is loosened, if you try to pry it off while the adhesive is on there you will break the back plate. Don't be lazy. Loosen the adhesive all around the edges, if it's still hard to take off, use a hair dryer again and run the plastic tool along the edges to loosen it up. Once you loosen it, do not immediately pull the back plate off, there's a small connector you have to take off before you can remove the back plate.Follow the instruction in the Youtube videos it's pretty straight forward. Getting the battery off could be easy or hard depending on the condition. My battery was bulging so it was harder to get the battery off. Similar to the rest, loosen up the adhesive but be careful if you're battery is bulging, heating it may be dangerous. The battery adhesive is pretty strong also but just loosen it all around and then pry it off from the corners and it will eventually come off. Plug in the battery to test that works, then remove the battery and apply the adhesive to stick it place. Then put everything back in. They do not provide the adhesive for the back plate but you don't necessarily need it. I put my back cover on, heated it up with hair dryer and then held it in place until the adhesive cooled down. Backplate remain flush and no longer bulges out like it did with my old battery.

They made sure that everything thing I needed to change my battery was included. The video instructions were so simple and straightforward that honestly, anyone can install it...no hired techie necessary. Oh and the battery life is great too! My old S8+ is the secondary phone to my Note 10-soon-to-be-ugraded-to-the-next-great-Samsung-thing(!) and is primarily used as an mp3 player (and when adventuring just in case I loose or damage it) so I was really bugging when the battery swelled and died. Very glad I found this product/company and should I need to, will use them again. :)
