Good product.
very nice and worth every penny. long battery life. I don't know long it last for full charge but I've used it for a week and it still have juice. clean shave and does the job. Better the one made by Japan or German. The only suggest is the power life indicator. needs make it more easier to read the power level before you know when to charge the unit.

surprisingly good shaver, especially for the price
I bought this YasunTech YS-5800 on August 2, 2023 on Amazon for $25.99, its current price, along with a set of its replacement cutters and foil in frame for $12.99. That is between $12 and $40 less than a comparable series 3 Pro Skin Braun shaver withought buy replacement cutter and foil cartridges. This shaver is $5 more than the very similar Wenzhou Pritech RSM-1577 which I bought at about the same time and also reviewed on Amazon. The Pritech is slightly slimmer and longer, with a slightly curved body, similar to the Braun series 3 3000S. It's onboard trimmer pops out from the back with the push of a button, as on Philips Norelco shavers. On the Yasun, the back-mounted trimmer slides up as on many Braun shavers. The Yasun's motor is slightly louder and runs at a slightly higher pitch than the Pritech, indicating that it might operate at a slightly higher speed. The cutting elements of the two shavers are very similar, although they would not be exactly interchangeable because of the differing design and shape of the two head frames that hold the foil and the center trimmer combs. It took me about twice as long to get the same closeness of shave on a 3-day beard growth with a very thick coarse beard as with the Pritech. The Yasun's shave is slightly less close, but considerably more comfortable and less aggressive on the skin, especially the neck area, than the shave with the Pritech. With both of these shavers, the power switch is a two-position sliding design, so they are not going to turn on by accident in a case when you travel with them.In addition to the Yasun's better long hair trimmer design, it greatest advantage is that you can actually get replacement cutter blades and foils. Pritech apparently does not offer replacement cutters and foils for any of their shavers. I even saw an Amazon description of Pritech's rotary head shaver where they bragged that, the expected life of a shaver is about a year, but they double that by including one replacement set of heads in a cover when you buy it. This is extremely unfortunate and short-sighted as a sales tactic, since these two companies offer many nice features that you don't get from the better known competition until you pay retail prices of well over $100, even $150 to get. The Yasun YS-5800, and the two Pritech models I have seen offer charging from a USB port with the included cables; IPX7 water proofing for even wet/dry shaving; ability to use plugged in while charging; and a modern design with spring loaded cutters that flex from side to side with the foils to follow the curves of your face as you shave.I give the edge to the Yasun over the similar Pritech because I prefer the design of the onboard trimmer, and Yasun offers replacement cutter and foil sets at a reasonable price. I think it shaves better than any rotary shaver I've ever used, regardless of brand and price, and it sells for half the price of any current Braun series 3 models, and replacement parts sell for about half the price as well compared to the Braun models.Reliability remains to be seen with the YasunTech shaver. Braun shavers are famous for longg-term reliability, for the shavers and for their cutting elements. At 1/3 to 1/2 the price of their nearest better-known competitor's closely comparable models, this YasunTech shaver is definitely worthy of consideration, especially if you shave every day or every other day, and most especially if you have a light to moderate beard growth.

Update: DO NOT buy! Here's why...
***1/24/2022 UPDATE***After One Year I need to replace this razor. Here's why: I purchased this YASUN razor in Feb of 2021 (10 months ago) and use it every day. At first I really liked the razor. I had been using an expensive Panasonic razor but after a few years they discontinued making replacement blades forcing me to throw out a perfectly good expensive razor because they stopped making their expensive replacement blades. I really didn't like PANASONIC shady marketing tactic so I purchased this Yasun razor. The problem with the Yasun razor is with the blade attachments. After about 6 months they began to fall off very easily. Whenever you remove the cover for cleaning the blades pop off and fall into the sink. The other problem is the small spring (see photo) will also fall into the sink. If you overlook this or the spring ends up in the sink drain you'll have to toss the razor. The upside is the razor is inexpensive and the replacement blades are about $10.Trying to fix the blade problem I bought a new set of replacement blades but that did not fix it. Even the new blades would come off when removing the cover. So after 1 year I WILL have to buy a different razor. I really cannot recommend this Yasun razor until Yasun fixes this defect.

This shaver is an excellent shaver
I bought this product in 2021 and have been incredibly happy with its performance. The shaver is cheap, gives a close shave very quickly, is easy to clean, and is fully waterproof. Using it daily, you can expect it to last at least a week and the sliding trimmer attachment is the cherry on top to create a good line at the ear.About a week ago, the shaver just stopped turning on and wouldn't hold a charge. It has been used several times a week for almost exactly 4 years so I think I got way beyond my money's worth. I went to buy another, more expensive brand of shaver thinking it was time for an upgrade. That shaver was almost twice as much money and did not even compare to the performance of this one. I am going to buy this one again after 4 years of satisfaction. Highly recommend.

Easy grip, shave quality deteriorates
Love the feel. Shave is great initially but deteriorates over time. Best to shave daily. Second day more difficult. Third day takes lots of passes. Expect maybe six months and you will notice the difference. I tried cleaning it once with soap and water. That was a mistake. It didn't seem to cut as well after. Rinsed under very hot water and it was then better. Ordered replacement blades and the cutters were not included but it showed on the website. I did a return and decided I will order a different shaver. Also, no recharge indicator. It is worth the $26 I paid but not more. Good backup shaver.
