Polycom SoundStation 2 with Power Supply (Non Expandable, Non Display)

The power cord for the Polycom device was not given.

Product failed 16 months after purchase. Warranty is void at this point. While my elderly parents enjoyed the clarity of the Polycom SoundStation, this is the 2nd unit we've purchased and the second failure of a Polycom unit.

Purchased this for board meetings at a condo association. The system works very well. Telephone participants can be heard in the meeting room very clearly, and the voices of the people in the room are heard with clarity and good volume by remote attendees. Our room is large and we sometimes have attendees a little too far from the unit, so they have to speak loudly to be heard. If one has a larger conference room (see Polycom recommendations on size), a unit with remote microphone "pucks" might be a better choice to reach ends of long conference tables.

We've yet to really use the phone. It was easy to setup. The call quality sounds very good. I did notice a slight hissing sound when the phone isn't in use that others have noted, but doesn't seem noticable if there is any office background noise and you are sitting a couple of feet away. Polycom makes nice phones.

Tried a couple of amplified phones however with small speakers voices were distortedI realized I had no problems with conference calls in the office, so bough this for home use--it's perfect.Probably should have bought the model with caller display6/10/15 updateIt died , lights come on but cant make connection to phone line--expensive to replace every 15 months.
