Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Really easy to set up. My12 year old did everything. We have a basic screen (non smart TV) which was used only for playing PS4, now we can use it for so much more. Using a non data phone (with wifi) as a controller to play games from android device.

I have used fire tv sticks and chromecasts, and this little guy does something that those can't do very well. My biggest problem was being able to cast media (downloaded movies and videos) from my phone to the TV in my van. The other solutions all seemed to not let you cast local media, or require an internet connection to make it work. This guy just lets you do a direct wifi conneciton to it, and then cast the local media without needing the internet - wonderful!

Best little dongle ever! If you travel often and want to take your TV shows on the road with you, you need this little gadget. Simply plug it in, hook up your phone and you can get your Netflix on the big screen! Can't best the price and you won't have to do without your shows or movies. This also works with my lap top for gaming on the big screen or PowerPoint presentations! Wonderful invention in a small package!

I wasnt sure about this. I bought it a couple months ago and just got around to trying it. It was a little confusing to set up but I think it was due to my reading comprehension. I'm not tech-savvy but I can hold my own. Once I realized that I didn't have a power source hooked up to it, it worked fine. Lol. I like it, I can mirror whatever I'm watching on my phone onto my TV. And -I haven't tried this yet- but, based on the setup, I believe I can take the dongle with me anywhere I travel, plug it into the HDMI port of the TV, plug the power source up to the wall, launch the app and watch my shows anywhere. One caveat, since it's mirroring your phone, if you get a phone call, it will show up on the TV screen. I have Android and it was easy to use

I recently purchased a spin bike to use at home during the pandemic but didn't want to purchase an iPad or more expensive bike that had a built-in screen. We already had an older, extra TV that had not been in use for several years, so I decided to repurpose the TV for our "gym" use. It has been so perfect! I use free youtube videos for classes and just screen-mirror my iPhone to the TV. It connects immediately, the picture quality is awesome, and I have been using it for a few months now with absolutely no issues. Would purchase this cost-effective solution again in a heartbeat!

The picture quality is superb and really easy to install. I struggled a little understanding how to get it to mirror my apple devices but I’ve never done it before. The missing piece for me was to turn on screen mirroring on my device (the slide open menu when you have your camera, airplane mode, calculator etc...) after you are in the Mira link WiFi. Easy. So easy once I got that.

This was very difficult to set up. Once it was ready it wasn’t too bad to use. A few more steps than I would have like but simple enough. After only 2 weeks of using a few times it stopped working. I tried reinstalling. But no go. Sending back. Look for something made in America and pay a bit extra.

I had intended to order a Google Chromecast device but must have selected this by mistake. Boy what a mistake! You have to download their app and then it takes over your phone and laptop! Regardless, it was way too complicated to figure out how to use! I'll be returning it today and ordering the Chromecast.

I bought this so that I wouldn't have to use an HDMI cable to connect an external monitor to my laptop but as you need an externally powered USB supply for it to work with either monitor or TV you still end up with a cable attached to your computer - or rechargeable power brick, which is senseless - so you haven't really achieved anything. The USB power supply does not come with a mains adaptor so the only way to power it other than through your laptop is to buy one, thus replacing one cable for another. The unit is not the compact item shown in the image but has another cable attached to it with a chunk of plastic at the end.If this isn't enough to put you off, you then have to download software and after an age buggering about, I finally managed to get a mirror projected to my monitor but in doing so the unit disconnected my computer Wi-Fi. As soon as I hit reconnect, the mouse cursor on the monitor froze and the thing was unusable. At this point I decided to give up and go back to my trusty HDMI cable and the gadget had completely screwed the display settings on my monitor.Back it goes for a refund. Avoid like the proverbial plague.

Es überträgt das Bild vom Handy/PC/HDMI auf den Bildschirm und dafür ist es wirklich gut.Wenn man aber Videos von YouTube sehen möchte geht das auch, aber eben nur wenn das Handy an aktiv ist.Bei Cromcast kann man ein, oder x Videos abspielen und das Handy wird dann nicht mehr benötig, man kann es sogar ausschalten. Das ist ziemlich wichtig, da ja auch der Akku von Handy/Smartphone entsprechend beansprucht wird. Also für Präsentationen gut, um stundenlang YouTube zu schauen eher nicht.Ich muss auch sagen, der Support ist großartig, sie interessieren sich sehr für Verbesserungen, es kann also sein, dass es bald Updates gibt. Ich habe ihn alles geschrieben, was mir aufgefallen ist.

Simple to set up, effective, easy to use, good value.This is a great gadget to stream anything from my phone to TV. I would highly recommend it over the streaming sticks.

After all the hassle and many hours of trying to get chromecast to work, I gave up using it. This is unbelievably easy and just works. Highly recommend. The difference is this creates its own wifi, so you just connect to it and cast. Now I guess that means you download content using 4g or ethernet as the wifi is being used to stream.

Setup is not exactly plain easy but very doable and doesn’t take too long. As per description it is not compatible for Amazon Prime or Netflix through laptop to tv or mobile to tv. For general browsing its fine but with videos its not as smooth as I would like it be, there is some slight lag and distortion.Overall though it is a good product.!
