This sliding glass door handle has saved my marriage! Get that sliding door fixed, or it's Splitsville for us, she said. I tried to stick the old sliding glass door handle back on with Gorilla tape, but that only worked for a few weeks. Gorilla tape is strong, but unsightly. My wife is particular when it comes to her sliding glass doors. I thought the price tag for this simple door handle was pretty steep, but Just Order The Handle, she told me. So I did and it was a perfect fit! We are back in the functional sliding glass door business again and all is well once again in our household.

I have an older Andersen sliding glass door and when my old handle snapped off I found this - it's MUCH less expensive that most options. The only issue I had is that the shape of this handle made it impossible for me to fully close my door (i.e., there was a 1/8" gap when closed). The holes in my old door lined up perfectly, but they were drilled too close to the wall. I simply drilled two new holes 1/4" up and to the left of the old holes, caulked up the old holes and touched up the area with paint, then put these on. Very happy.

Handles were a little expensive but they were new had screws and installed in minutes. Shipping was quick. Very pleased with the handles.

This was well packaged, arrived when expected, easy to install, and is of solid construction. I just installed this today so I cannot speak to it's long term performance, but I am very pleased with this replacement handle.

For years I struggled with opening the sliding glass door by pushing on the frame, because the handle had broken off years ago. I had no idea such an old door handle could be replaced. With all the time on my hands during this virus induced confinement I searched to find a way to open the sliding glass door I had struggled with for so long.The old, inside handle was made in two parts--bad design. This newer design is one single inside piece which gives it strength with much less stress on the attaching screws. I am so delighted with this "new" handle. It will definitely outlast my occupancy in this house--and I have no plans to move.
