I have a 1 year old Maltipoo puppy. Yep, she’s a yapper. I started on the lowest level for several days. I did notice a slight difference with her. Then I went to the next level, at this point I was moving it throughout my home to control her yapping in other rooms. Then went to the highest level, and decided to mount on wall when I once figured out where it would serve her best. All was going well, until I accidentally knocked it off the wall and broke it quite severally. For the money I paid for it I don’t think I’ll order another one any time soon, unless l know I will not be clumsy and knock it off my wall again accidentally.

I received the device 5 days ago and since that time my Golden Retriever who barks incessantly over stupid things like a toy right in front of her, or while I’m on the phone, causing me to have to go to another room. Since then, her indoor barking has virtually ceased which has been awesome. My other dog, a black Labrador has never been a problem barker, but we noticed some down sides of the device as well due to the behavior changes both have exhibited. I don’t leave the device on all the time, especially at night or when we’re not home because I want them to alert us if there’s something outside that we need to check on. Also when my Golden stops barking inside and complies, I turn it off and offer praise in order to get compliance whether it’s on or off. However, when the device is off, they still act as if it’s on and they avert staying on their beds and go to the furthest part of the room to get away from the device’s signal and one dog doesn’t want to come inside now which is a new issue. I suspect that even when it’s on and not actively transmitting (during a barking episode) that it is still giving off some signal that the dogs can still hear due to what I noticed when it’s on but not supposedly sending signal-green light on. My dogs are laying down on the other side of the room away from the device-on or off.I have now been turning it off once the barking stops, but it seems that they can “hear” something that has changed their normal behavior. So if you buy this device, I would caution you to watch the behavior of your dog both before, during, and after using the device so you can figure out the best way to employ it. I’m glad that it does work, but I am concerned about my dogs other behavior changes and whether the device is still transmitting even after it supposedly cuts off after the barking is arrested. I still think it is transmitting something they can still hear afterwards. Use the device, but be cautious How You Use It.

I mainly purchased this product to stop my one Pitbull/American bulldog to stop barking whenever he gets too excited or annoyed with our other bully breed when she takes his toy. My female bully totally and utterly freaked out (had the setting on low) and hid behind the couch, shaking uncontrollably. My male bully (the one I mainly got this device for) was confused at first and then barked uncontrollably like it had no affect on him what so ever. Its like it made him angrier or more crazy. Not going to keep this device, returning it to get my money back. Really bummed out it didn't give me the results I wanted.

I have three small dogs, and when my girlfriend or I get home, it's like a contest to see who can bark the most/loudest amongst my furry children. It's annoying to say the least. I set this item up and had it set to the medium setting. I left for a bit, and knew that when I got home, it would be a true test of this product's effectiveness.I get home and open the door, and I hear a single bark. I see them all tuck their tails and begin to run away from the box. For a moment, I feel bad, but also happy that it worked so well. For about 3 days, no one attempted to bark. They would look at the box and then just sit there and wait for me to come through the gate to greet them. It was literally like magic.I told my parents about the box and they explained that they had a neighbor's dog that was barking right outside of their bedroom and wanted to see if this would help. That night, they put the box (on high) on the wall facing the neighbor's house. I inquired the next morning and said that they heard a single bark in the night and then nothing after that. It was the "best sleep" that they had gotten in weeks. So far, two for two on testing.Since then, I feel like my dogs have gotten used to the box and it's not as effective. My boy (the worst barker of the bunch) kind of pushes through the discomfort and keeps barking even though I can see that it is still effecting my two little girls (dogs). That being the case, I can honestly say that this product does absolutely work...but I wouldn't expect it to be effective for a long period of time. For a while though, it was perfect. Now when I walk in, I pick it up in my hand and walk towards them. They see it and typically only bark once or twice and then back away and sit down. So they must still not be a fan of the box...which is exactly why I'm such a fan!

I have two 1 year old miniature schnauzers. They can bark a lot at times so I got this product to help control that. At first use it seemed to work great, however after about 3 days it was starting to not do its job. I started it off in the low setting but when it wasn’t being so effective, I put it on high, yet it still wasn’t doing its job. Honestly it only worked great for about 5 days. Then it died and after replacing the batteries it still didn’t work again. It just stopped. Wish it would have been of better use for me.
