I have a Desktop 3020 ProMax v2, with trim router spindle upgrade. I never expected to be able to mill steel, but took a chance on this bit given the positive reviews of Speedtiger. Not only was I able to slot a piece of mild steel bar, but it left a really nice finish despite being sold as a roughing bit. More than pleased with purchase.

Quality exceeds the price.No they aren't indestructible but are surprisingly durable with sensible use

When it cut, it cut really nicely. However, I've broken two of these doing very simple slotting. The other 1/4" carbide end mills I have slot just fine without breaking. Same mill, same feeds and speeds. Your mileage may vary.

The media could not be loaded. I was cutting 80crv2 for a knife project and was pleasantly surprised how well this cut. It’s buttery smooth compared to my other endmills at that depth of cut. I think I did around 7thou depth as that’s all I needed but can probably handle even deeper cuts just as well. It’s well worth the money

All I have to say is holy crazy this is a good cutter for the money I'm running this on my klutch mini mill and man the speed and feed you can run is amazing and it's wisper quite! This is my new favorite end mill and the bottom finish is great even if it's a roughing end mill it is amazing! The motor on my mill is way louder than it!
