I absolutely love this book! I am a beginner at drawing. I started self teaching myself how to draw two months ago. This books tells you what pencils to use and the different steps of shading. They are challenging drawings but I very happy to see that I was able to finish them! I bought other books from the same collection and I love them all.

I found this short book very detailed and descriptive. I appreciated the pictures along the way. I will look into others by him.

Excellent book for starting to draw birds. Gives detailed suggestions on what type of pencil to use for different parts of the bird's body feathers. Should be "relatively" easy to apply to other birds. I gave it 4 stars because I anticipated that it would cover more birds. I should be able to go on from here.

I particularly loved the types of birds featured in the tutorials, and I appreciated the fact that their natural environments were also part of each case study.

Great book.Shipping and packaging were good

This book is not very good for advanced drawers and even worse for beginners. It also doesn't have very many drawings. This means it has limited angles and poses of birds and very few different bird types. I won't be buying these types of books from this publisher again.

hubby loves it. Been staying inside a lot(like everyone) and can only watch just so much television.

Good guide for beginner artists

This book is much nicer than in the pictures. It is also much bigger than I thought and so it doesn't fit my bookshelf very well but I just put it sideways! The illustrations are beautiful and the lessons are well-planned and helpful. I highly recommend this book if you like to draw birds.

Este livro possui apenas uma pequena seleção de ilustrações de aves. Não há explicações concisas sobre os fundamentos básicos do passo-a-passo. É muito bom para quem quer aprender replicando imagens.
