Everybody's Guide to Homeopathic Medicines Paperback – September 18, 2004

I actually give this book 5+ stars; it's fantastic! My entire family loves this book and we refer to it regularly. We've purchased several copies for family and friends; all love it, too. It's an excellent book for anyone but especially for those new to or just starting investigating homeopathy. It educates you about how it's used, how to find the right remedy and about the doses/strengths of the remedies. Everything you need to know to get started and get help for everyday problems is here. So far, we've used this book to help our neighbor who was suffering from low back pain; his problem was completely resolved in just 2 doses in 1 day. The poor man couldn't stand up straight and walking was painful. Same for a repeat problem of sciatica for my husband. He had 3 episodes of it before we learned about homeopathy. The first 2 methods of treatment he used were conventional medicine and chiropractic care; neither worked as well nor as fast. He suffered for at least 6 weeks both times before getting relief. On the 3rd episode, we used this book to find the remedy he needed and just 2 doses in 1 day resolved it completely! It's never returned either and nothing he tried before had done that. Definitely recommend this book. Homeopathy is the best and is all natural. It enables the body to heal itself without any harmful "side effects."

Easy instructions for the beginner on how to diagnose. Helpful tips throughout.I made notes in the book (the prior version) when my kids had repeat issues, with dates. Years later that came in very helpful when they were adults.I would recommend this book to everyone.

I’ve enjoyed reading about the different remedies and how they work. I’m very new to homeopathy, but have found it helpful for several different short term ailments.

Overall this is a fantastic book. My "but" stems from the print being incredibly small. So small in fact that I contemplated returning it. I suppose the larger the print the more printing cost there is, but I do wish the the printing/publishing companies would also take in to consideration (that for a number of reasons) not all of us have the best eye sight. Yes I have glasses but still, do to age and inherited eye issues it is still very uncomfortable to read very small print.

The print size is too small to go through .While the book had been written by great authors it does not cover many issues particularly the chronic cases,may be it is not intended to be.The chapters on Principle of Homeopathy, ,Philosophy and case taking are good and they are presented in a simple form.However the book is useful and may be a hand book to start looking at the case,with options and symptoms given for many medicines vis a vis the diseases.Very difficult to read the book because of the Printing quality ,but that aspect cannot be attributed to the authors.

After my first copy wore out, I am now on to my second copy! My kids came down with lots of ear infections when they were small, and I am wary of antibiotics and their overuse. Homeopathy became a great help. Our kids are now in elementary school, and I still use it for their little ailments. This book is written very clearly and provides lots of information without being overwhelming. Even my husband has fallen for it, although he doesn't want to admit it, (or can't explain how it is possible this would actually work, but it does)

I bought four different books about homeopathy and this has turned out to be the one that I rely on the most. It easy to use and then make wise decisions as to which homeopathic option to use. I would highly recommend this book for ease of use.

I have started getting interested in homeopathy but often found the books hard to read or hard to find what I am looking for. This one is simple and lists a symptom and the remedies to look at. I have already used to relieve shingles and keep it handy. A must for anyone who is interested in healing without drugs.
