Excellent basic coffee grinder with low noise and low price.
This is a very basic blade grinder but it is quite effective. Because the blade appears to be connected to the end of the motor shaft, there is no extra bearing required to support the blade. As a result, the grinding cup is not removable. But since the motor bearings tend to be pretty quiet, the grinder itself is as well. It will make a bit of noise as the beans come in contact with the blade but quiets down in a few seconds. Very good grinder for the price. Cup is not quite as large as say the kitchen aid but more than enough for normal coffee grinding needs.

Perfect for the price!
My previous grinder broke after 2 years of usage (and it was $82 at Walmart!). This one has been good for the few months I have been using it. Would suggest you grind for 1-2 seconds less than the suggestion for your maker-type, and I make a large pot every time, so I actually have to use this twice (the size isn't quite large enough) per pot of coffee, but I am still very pleased with this product, especially for the price. If you place your hand over the entire top of grinder, the noise level isn't that bad, and the grind quality to my untrained eyes looks very consistent.

Quiet Grinder
Ordered this for grinding herbs and spices. I have a more robust burr grinder for coffee beans. This one I'm using initially to make lavender powder for topping lattes or baked goods. The grinding motion is thorough, and relatively quiet. It's quite easy to operate. The main reason for only 4 stars is that I'm not sure it will be long-lasting, as it seems to be for light consumer grade usage only. I will say so far so good. Looking forward to those lavender infused treats!

It seems to work well
Coffee bean grinder is nice but I bought coffee beans and the brand sent was not beans. I also purchased Amazon choice Colombian beans and it was ok. The grinder works well. I only used twice wishing I didn’t buy because I only bought for coffee pot I purchased. Not as I remember percolated coffee as a kid. Sorry I bought the Farberware pot too.

It's inexpensive and gets the job done quickly.
Inexpensive, reliable, reasonably fine grind.I'm using this to grind some coffee beans my daughter bought me as a gift. I didn't own a coffee grinder.I'm also using them to grind Hibiscus flowers into a tea. One $3 bag of hibiscus flowers is going to make about $50 worth of individual Tea bags worth of hibiscus tea. This little machine does the job in seconds. Maybe 30 seconds total? The coffee was tasty and a reasonably even grind and this tool is much less expensive than a coffee grinder.

Great!
I got this to grind up regular sesame seeds and black sesame seeds to get all the nutritional benefits, I’ve never bought a seed grinder before so I tried it out immediately and it seems to be working great. I’m very pleased with how convenient this will be. I recommend.

Good value for the price
It’s very easy to use and quiet, and grinds much finer than my old grinder. But the cord storage is kind of ridiculous. I’ll just leave the cord unwrapped.
