High Performance Two-Stroke Engines
E**Z
Great coverage with a couple of minor gaps
A great summary of the modern 2 stroke engine and its development since the 1970s. It covers all the components, with a couple of gaps of niche developments. Exhaust resonator chambers and their inlet equivalents barely get a mention. Also water injection that Honda used in 500cc GPs the 1990s and common crankcase designs like the SwissAuto aren't covered. However, they are minor complaints and overall the book is excellent. Lots of great photos and diagrams. If you know the basics, you can skip the first couple of chapters as it starts at a basic level.
