Not a bad alternative to the Sofabaton
We have a SofaBaton F2 Universal Remote Attachment for our bedroom. We really liked the idea of having one less remote to control our devices. The SofaBaton F2 allowed us to combine our TV remote with our Gen 1 Fire TV Stick remote. This was great until our Gen 1 Fire TV Stick started moving like molasses. Unfortunately the Fire TV Stick Lite is not compatible with the SofaBaton F2. We considered getting another SofaBaton U1 (which we have in our den and sitting rooms) so we could control the TV, the Fire TV Stick, and the DirecTV Genie. However, we wanted to see if there was something else out there that would get us what we needed without the U1/U2 programming overhead. This device appeared to fill that bill, and we liked the fact that it was a lot like the SofaBaton F2.One quick tip: The screws that hold down the battery cover were a little tight, probably too tight. One came off easily the second one did not and we were afraid of stripping the screw. We did finally manage to get it off but decided not to use them as the battery cover appears to hold just fine without the screws.Pros:- Fits our Fire TV Stick Lite perfectly.- Relatively easy to program (We had a false start because we were too eager to program it and missed some key steps in the instructions 😂)Cons:- The overall design of the remote should be recessed just a hair more to avoid accidentally pushing buttons when flipping from one side to the other. I don't think this is going to be a big problem but I can see why other reviewers pointed this out.- When in Cable/Satellite mode, the power button only powers off the DirecTV box (the power buttons on the DirecTV remote will power off both the TV and the DirecTV Genie box). Despite walking through DirecTV's settings for programming this remote to control the TV, when you are in Cable/Satellite mode, the only TV controls we can use are the volume and mute on the TV. To power off the TV, we always have to switch to TV mode. (not a showstopper but not totally convenient either)All in all it's not a bad unit. One thing that's cool is because this device serves as a cradle for the native Fire TV stick remote, we get Alexa voice command features. (Something we don't get from the Sofabaton U1.)

I Have Four…
This remote is bulky and is double sided. The power, and volume control buttons on the edge so you can use no matter what remote is facing up. There are several reviews that detail ways in which this remote is clunky. Make no mistake, it is, but it’s great just the same.I have small hands so I have no trouble hitting only the Roku buttons or other the universal buttons. I almost exclusively watch content from the Roku, so I rarely need to other side.I have two remotes each synced to a tv, a Roku, and a sound bar, I have two others are just the TV and Roku combination.I was sick of losing multiple remotes this solved my problem. No complaints or issues getting the universal side to pair with any of my electronics. My oldest TV is an old smart 3D TV so some of the buttons don’t ‘match’ like they should, but again 99% I am only turning it off and on. Everything newer the limited buttons I use behave as expected.

Good Remote, worth the money.
Meets all of my needs for a remote. If you are looking for one remote with ease of use and setup, then this is for you. The only reason it gets four start is because of a few convenience features.1. More raised up on the ends so the buttons do not rub or get pushed on the other side of the remote.2. Plastic to keep the screws to keep the from falling out when changing the batteries.

4k fire stick does not fit!!!
4k (newest) fire stick remote does not fit and would not be included in “most fire sticks fit” category. Be upset!

Easy setup and creative
This remote really brought us joy as we were constantly shuffling between TV, soundbar and firestick remotes. It is a creative idea to integrate Firestick remote on the back of this remote. Setting it up for the TV and soundbar was a breeze. Adjusting volume from the preset device (soundbar in my case) irrespective of which A/V is selected is a fantastic feature. The power and volume buttons on the side is a genius idea to avoid cluttering on the main remote area. The quality looks sturdy and size is appropriate. Overall I love the functionality brought in with this universal remote.

Good for larger hands people
Looked like I may have gotten a returned remote. Box was torn and not sealed. Also the slim cover that holds the firestick remote in place would not stay on. I really wanted to use remote and not return it, so I put a dab of superglue on the tiny tabs of the cover. This seems to have helped. The cover is staying on for now. The 4k remote does not fit as is mentioned in other reviews. I had an earlier firestick remote however and it works fine. The first code I entered for my Vizio TV was the correct one and everything works. I liked the position of buttons, such as mute and volume which is what I use most. I like the size because I have larger hands and the small firestick and Vizio remote are a pain to use. I’m happy with it at this time.
