A keeper for the money
I bought this because it will fit on my pedalboard and because of the positive reviews of the larger pedal. I've been playing with it for about a week. I was using a Fulltone MD-2 pedal previously. I think I like the sound of the Moen better, seems to give a better vibe sound. I am mostly into more subtle sounds, just to soften it up a bit and give that slight Hendrix spaciness (think Little Wing or some of the stuff on Cry of Love); the Moen seems to work for that. I also really like the chorus, adds a very subtle coloring without being swishy: I think I will use that a lot. I am setting at 9 o'clock for rate and depth, and 3 o'clock for bias. There is definitely a gain loss when you switch in the the vibe, no gain loss on the chorus; I use a boost when I am using the vibe, but usually you keep this effect on through a song anyway. The bias control has a definite effect and works sort of like a tone control, hard to describe. Construction seems OK, on off switch is fairly quiet, and the unit seems quiet, bypass seems quiet; of course, if you put a lot of fuzz or gain with it you will hear swishes. For less than a third of the price of the Deja Vibe or similar pedals, this one is worth a look. A slight volume boost (or knob) for the vibe would be nice, and a toggle would be better than the little push button for vibe/chorus, hard to tell which mode it is in. I think I will keep this one on my board and see how it goes.

Just wasn't feeling the cosmic vibe
I always do a lot of research before getting a pedal and this was not exception. I watched several videos and read several reviews so took the plunge. The first time I plugged in the pedal I noticed something was not right - in adjusting the "tone" (bias) towards the "bass" side everything started to distort/fuzz. Thinking I was doing something wrong I played around with everything but each time I turned the bias down there was the fuzz. On top of that the unit sounded like a battery was failing - those who remember the "old" days of playing and had failing battery's know this sound. I used to have a Nady wireless system a few decades ago and when the battery would die the signal would distort - same sound here.. But to be clear - I was not using a battery. Frustrated I set it aside and waited until the next day to look at it further. At this point let me point out a few things readers might be wondering:1. Using a Strat with single coils. No overdrive on, clean channel.2. Power was fine - running through a furman rack power supply and than adapter.3. Yes I was going through all of my effects at this time, including my wah. But I also bypassed everything and sent it direct into my ampMoving on -The next evening, before I posted a review or got in contact with the seller, I tried it all again and I watched and re watched demos and tried to duplicate some of the settings. I even unplugged it and put in a a battery to make sure it wasn't the power supply. The same sound, or lack of, was happening. But I don't want people to only dwell on that so here is the, more or less, full "review".If the bias knob is in the middle or turned "up" towards treble side things may appear to be ok. There is a cycle that happens but, to me, not the way a rotating cabinet would sound, nor the way any of the demos sounded. It was actually more of a phaser sound. If I set my Joyo JF-06 to about the 3 o'clock position I got the exact same sound - and this puzzled me because I did not purchase a phaser. I have already discussed what happens when the bias was turned over toe the "dark side". Also, as others have pointed out, there is s sound drop when the pedal is on.As for the chorus option - from my reading a lot of these vibe units seem to have a "chorus" that is really the vibe part in relation to the Leslie portion. To me a 'chorus" is not a vibe or a rotating speaker - so to me the "chorus" on this was useless. In addition the little button was below the face of the pedal so it made it fairly useless to me - one would almost need a pen/pencil/toothpick to use the button.I wanted to address something another reviewer here said - they discussed a "click, click, click" sound and they returned it and got a Jimi Shaky in return. On the clicking part - yes, in my testing and moving the pedal around to make sure what I was hearing was not caused by something else, I got a loud clicking repeated over and over. My first thought was "Oh no - just like that review said". But when I switched around the order of the pedals - no more clicking. On the Jimi Shaky vs the Jimi Zero I have no comment because I was not offered that sort of exchange.Having said that, and the reason for one star, is because I seriously felt the unit I was sent was defective but the vendor, upon it's return, tested it and said it was working as it should be and I was given a refund. The only thing they did admit too was that the button was lower than normal. They also said I would probably like the Jimi Shaky better and that unit was outselling the Jimi Zero by a lot. I take the vendors word that it was working as it should be thus my opinion is one star for the pedal. Also I am not so sure I would purchase any Moen product again because of this.

Ok if you need it
It does a decent job with the vibe/leslie effect but not so great with the chorus. I didn't like the vibe/chorus push button switch as it is very small, cannot be activated with by foot and you really can't tell what position it is in. I had considered swapping this out for a cheapo flanger that I have on my board, but reconsidered. I found the flanger to be much more versatile. The vibe/leslie effect gets tiring. I also found the pulsing rate light very distracting and somewhat fatiguing. If you got to nail the vibe effect for a Jimmy/Trower tune, this will get you there. Just don't over use it.

What I've been missing
I was bouncing around on Amazon looking for a new pedal and I wanted to get something different than I've ever had before. After some poking around and viewing some less than flattering demos on youtube, I settled on this box here. I've loved Jimi my entire life. I like Trower as well. I've never thought of using a uni-vibe clone, go figure. This thing is a lot of fun. I mean, yeah it kills the top end of your tone, but you can somewhat compensate for that. The trade-off is worth it, in my opinion. The rotary speaker effect you can get from this thing is really close to a uni-vibe and just as much fun. The LED glows in synch with the rate AND depth of the vibe effect. The bias knob acts as a bandpass filter for the vibrato effect and allows you to dial the effect in at the frequency range you want. Leave it at the low end, and the vibrato is applied only the bass frequencies. At the high end, it applies to treble frequencies, and everywhere in between targets the midranges. The adjustments can be quite dramatic. The plus, is that Moen added a chorus mode in the latest revision and it's a really good, lush, almost stereo-like chorus out of a mono pedal. I really dig it a lot and I suspect this pedal would be a lot of fun on a bass as well. This is a home-run at this price. Moen makes great stuff; I picked up the MOEN GEC9 "COMMANDER" EFFECTS LOOPER AND CONTROL STATION 10 BANKS OF PRESETS! recently and, like this pedal, it's built like a tank and I don't see reliability being an issue with their gear.

Great compact vibe pedal for the price...
maybe even better than some boutique pedals. The bypass is clean with no tone suckage. Both the vibe and chorus settings sound good. Works well, both distorted and clean.
