Specifically designed for minimalists, the USB-rechargeable Rapid mini offers 4 modes of eye-catching illumination. At only 22 grams, whether it's on a seat post, Fizik saddle or messenger bag, extra weight and bulk are no longer excuses for not being seen. Small in size but big on safety, Rapid mini has all the features of its big brothers Rapid X and X2, including low battery indicator, Battery Auto Save and mode memory.

Great light...but don't make it your main light.
The mount is terrible. I also bought the X3 and same issue with that. Pretty much you have 3 other pieces necessary to make this light clip to your bike. You have: 1. mount that attaches to the back of the light, 2. A small rubber piece that goes on the back of the mount that is supposed to rest against the seat post. 3. And you have the rubber band. There are too many moving parts. Either make a light with the screw on mount or the rubber mount that most bikes have where the light just clips in. It is unnecessary to have these 3 extra small parts that I'm sure will be lost sometime. Also, who knows what the longevity of the rubber O-ring will be. If that snaps during a ride then you are out of a light. I purchased the mount that attaches to this light right under the seat, so I hope that'll help. Also the clip itself that attaches to the mount does not feel secure either. It does snap in but the little snapping mechanism is very small. Maybe a couple of 1-2mm max. I'm also not certain if my light will still be on if I hit a super hard bump. The light itself could be brighter. The rapid mode is the brightest, but the flash mode gives you up to 30 hours according to Cat Eye. If this light was between 5-10 lumens brighter, had a better battery life, and improved the mount significantly then I think it would be the best light out. I would only recommend this for night time use. Despite the mount and it not being the brightest it is a good nice looking light that is decent for night time riding. You will be seeing and it's easy to take off and carry in your pocket. I do recommend this light.-------------Update----------After putting this light through tests I can determine that this light is visible from a quarter mile maximum. To me that is not sufficient considering the amount of time it takes for a car to stop if going at high speeds. The Axiom pulse is nearly the same size and only 9 dollars more. Plus it offers excellent side viewing and a much better mount. I'm planning on returning this light. I really wanted to like this light. It is lightweight and portable. It's just not worth the price though. Even at 20 bucks. I no longer recommend this product.-----------Update #2 10/13/16-------------OK I like this light enough to bump it up 1 star. Here's why:1. If you get this light please purchase the mounting bracket that goes on the back of the saddle. Cat eye makes this. It is perfectly placed and feels very sturdy. Not like the included mount.2. Battery life. It seems to charge pretty fast. I'm charging after 1 week and it will last me until the end of the following week.3. The weight and size is great. It's perfect for a quick night time ride.4. It's not blinding. While I did mention that there are much better lights for only a few dollars more these lights don't all have a low mode. My girlfriend sometimes rides in front of my with an 80 lumen light and at about 3 feet behind I am already painfully blinded. This one can be seeing from a good quarter mile and if on a bike path it is more than sufficient.I will still limit this to a night time only light. It will not be seeing the the daytime. You have to know what to expect from this light. I would consider it a good secondary light. If I only had 1 light I would not chose this one. But for something durable, quick, easy, and fun to use go with this light.

Perfect tail light
On my mountain bike, the mount slides a little bit when I'm putting the light on, but there's enough friction that you can easily move it and it will stay, so that is not a problem. The light seems to be noticeable and bright enough since I haven't gotten hit by any cars. It looks super sleek, it is ultra light, and you have the option of mounting it vertically or horizontally. Battery life definitely seems true to what the specifications suggest, the light itself is very beautiful blinking or off and the light modes are functional. I personally never put it on seizure mode since that tends to distract drivers rather than warning them, and it also burns the battery faster. Regular blink is great, or if you're feeling super sleek, keep it on constant. USB port is covered by a soft rubber cover on the bottom side and a USB cable is included to plug into a charger or computer. I would not buy any light other than this, it's perfect.

works great with the Fizik mount, but included rubber band mount is bad
This is a good rechargable bike light if you can use it with the Fizik seat mount ($6 extra). The Fizik mount is secure and easily detachable when you need to recharge the light. The light's pulse mode is not too obnoxious to use on group bike rides.I really do not like the rubber band mount that they include in the box for people that are not using the Fizik mount. The rubber band is clumsy and fragile and easy to lose, since you have to remove it every time you recharge the light (which might be every day). Why couldn't they include a more solid mount, like you get with Cygolite?

The mount is not bad. Shoots easily
Measured the duration of the regimes of light of this tail light at room temperature:1. Rapid. 6.5 hours, then switches to flashing mode and works for 2.5 hours more.2. Slow flashing. 30 hours + 2.5 flashing mode.3. Constant light. 10 hours + 2.5 flashing mode.4. Flashing mode. 120 hours! The mount is not bad. Shoots easily, quickly and conveniently

Works Great
This is a great little tail light. It's got four different "modes," is extremely light weight, and clips well into the CatEye Rear Rack Bracket that I bought to fasten a light securely to my Ibera PakRak.I really like the last option for the way it works...it's kind of a pulsating look which seems really noticeable to me. Very cool.Overall, I'm really happy with this light and would recommend it to anyone looking for a small, visible, lightweight taillight for their bicycle.

Don't bother
I ordered this light because of it's seemingly high reviews. When I received it I was not impressed with the feel of the light or the mount. While riding this light had the most annoying feature - no matter what setting you put it on within 30 seconds it would automatically switch itself to the blinking light option. I returned it and ordered a Cygolite, which I am very happy with.

Good light.
I use this on my commuter and have no complaints about it. It's bright and so far, it seems to hold a charge well when not used or charged regularly. This fits my Fizik saddle using CatEye's adapter. It's a nice setup, to have it mounted right to the bike instead of around the seatpost.

Small bright and perfect with Fizik seats.
Great for the minimalist rider that wants that streamed lined look. Fits my Fizik Arione R7 perfectly with the adapter mount.

Convenient USB charging
A bit expensive for what it is and could have done with different sized rubber bands to fix to my bike. Easy to use and bright.
