strengtha nd adjustability of desktop mount.
Dont write many reviews but this one deserves it. Bought for my wife new monitor but did not need it. Almost returned it and then remember my 32" monitor on its tower double arm mount took up a lot of desk top space positioning the face of the monitor at 10.5" from the wall. Replaced the old Post mount this this double arm mount puts the monitor's faces at 5" from the wall. That may not seem like much but now the keyboard can go back further and trying to look at a 32" monitor sitting up close top the desk can strain the eyes. BUT that is not the reason for this review as most any "post less" double arm mount would likely do the same. VERY IMPRESSED with the rigidity and adjustability of the mount. That is some serious steel and it is very well design accommodating a lot of different thickness desk top as well as being deep enough to securely mount on my 2" live edge desk top edge,

For the price, it’s pretty great
I use this monitor arm for a 45GX950A-B, look up the specs if you like, but it’s quite massive and heavy. This monitor arm has been doing a great job of holding it up for four months now without any issues, however maybe once a month I have to re-tighten the proper screws because the monitor is so heavy and it wears on the joints. That said, for the price point this is an excellent monitor arm.

Great mount!
This is a really good mount for your monitor. It is easy to put together and works well. You do have to adjust the screws in the back if you want to adjust the tilt or angle of the monitor. I will say it sounds like it is going to break when you move the monitor and the arm around but it has worked well for me over the last few months with constant movement.

**⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Neck‑Pain Cure and Desk Space Miracle in One Sleek Arm**
Mounting my 27‑inch monitor on the MOUNTUP gas‑spring arm instantly transformed both my workspace and posture. Assembly was refreshingly foolproof: tighten the heavy‑duty clamp to the back edge, snap the VESA plate onto the screen, and pop the arm into the base—total setup time was maybe fifteen minutes, Allen keys included. Once installed, the gas spring glides like a studio boom; with one fingertip I can raise the display for standing sessions, pull it forward for detail work, or pivot it 90° to portrait mode for coding marathons, and it stays locked exactly where I leave it.The built‑in tension adjustment dial let me fine‑tune the lift so the arm floats my 14‑pound monitor weightlessly, and the full 360‑degree rotation makes sharing the screen on Zoom calls as simple as a gentle spin. Cable management was clearly an afterthought on my old stand but is front‑and‑center here—the snap‑on channels hide every cord, so the desk surface finally looks photo‑ready, and the black powder‑coat finish blends seamlessly with my peripherals. After three weeks of daily use, I already feel the ergonomic payoff: no more hunching or stack‑of‑books risers, and my neck and shoulders thank me every evening. The freed‑up real estate beneath the monitor now fits my notebook, phone dock, and coffee mug with room to spare, effectively doubling my usable workspace. Whether you’re battling desk clutter, chasing the perfect viewing angle, or just want a mount that feels as solid and adjustable as units twice the price, the MOUNTUP arm delivers five‑star performance across the board.

better than advertised
great mount. i know it says its rated for 17lbs. i just found that out today when i mounted a heavy 34" oled to it. the arm is extended all the way out. after i cranked the strength knob all the way up the monitor is holding wonderfully. only issue is that the monitor tilted forward a bit so i tightened that mounting point and all is well now. mount was purchased a year ago and had a small 24" monitor on it prior. all and all great mount. i will be buying a beefier one though as a $800 isnt worth cheaping out over.

Easy to assemble
Bah, it isn't what I needed and that was my fault for sure. I should have read the size stuff for both my screen and this But I did still try to use it. It was very easy to set up. Great grip, as far as I can tell. I didn't get to mount a tv to it because the attachment isn't the right size, so I can't speak to that. This thing was so easy to set up that I barely even needed the instructions and it was quick too. I think about 10 minutes total and a good bit of that was just checking to see if all the parts were there. Definitely were.

Well-Made, Easy Install, Does the Job
Well made, easy to install, and does the job. It's as simple as that. I can now easily move my monitor up or down, left or right to suit my needs at any time with ease. Can't ask for more. Excellent value.

Okay, but there were some issues.
So....I ordered the white arm and received the black one. Not the product's fault, but still annoying for the entire encounter. That said, the arm itself was easy to set up and attach to the desk and monitor. My major issue, other than receiving 3 different size allen wrenches to build the thing, was that no matter how much I tightened one and loosened the other, the main arm would continuously lower. I'm not sure if this was a weight issue with the monitor, although my monitor is within specs of the product, or if I got a faulty arm, or third option....I just haven't found the sweet spot yet on the 3 different bolts. If it is operator's error, I'll be sure to come back on here and update my review.
