Nice addition
I'm happy with the product. Some others have mentioned that the rathtar limbs keep falling out but no problems with mine. May be a little tricky to put together as the letters on the limbs are a little hard to read, but otherwise fine

Legs fall off
Very disappointing product, my son was super excited to get this toy but the legs of the octopus are supposed to pop in but they just as easily pop out.. he can not play with it properly as legs keep falling off and actually got quite frustrated rather than enjoying it. Don’t waste ur money 👎🏼

Stuff Star Wars, this is an ideal Cthuloid monstrosity!
Suitable, with a bit of conversion and paintwork, for a gribbly bit of Cthuloid nastiness. Star Wars? meh.

Beware of the Rathar!
While Bala-Tik himself is a perfect figure, the Rathar has massive problems to do with it's limbs staying into the torso. At times the limbs can fall apart while moving the figure which will require super glue to keep them in place. This is due to the limbs having to be sloted into the body of the Rathar upon unboxing, but for whatever reason the sockets on the torso cannot hold the limbs in place. As a figure collector, the purchase of Bala-Tik and the Rathar is fine. Just make sure the Rathar has super glue on it's torso and limbs for display. If this is being bought for a child, than the Rathar will be a parents worse nightmare. I recommend getting this boxset while it's on discount, for full price it is far from worth it!

"Some construction necessary"
My eight year old seems to like it, the fact that it can 'eat' the included character seems to be a source of amusement for him.I'm giving it two stars however, as whatever it would cost to affix the tentacles during the manufacturing process, please just do that and bill me for it. There is this trend of toys coming only partially built, and not because there is pleasure to be had in building the toy, to me it seems to be simply that it's cheaper not to have to do that in the factory and that ends up with these DIY toys that parents end up having to endlessly build/rebuild/fix.

Difficult to build
Bought this toy for my 7yr old grandson. Tried to build it and the tentacles would not stay in place. Even his parents were unable to put it together. The tentacles just kept dropping out. Poor quality n̈ot value for the money, and a very upset grandson. Would not recommend anyone buy this toy.
