My cat absolutely loves it!
My cat LOVES these types of toys where the moving component is under a sheet of some kind. It’s not a toy that he will beg to play with, but it’s really nice when he is in active-mode and needs stimulation. He especially likes using it at night when most of the lights are off. The ONLY issues I have with it are:1. Attaching/detaching the “rat tail” is super easy, but the feather part is a pain to remove once you get it on. Not sure if that is just my product or if that is how it’s designed2. If you don’t click the cover on just right, it will pop off. I don’t seem to have an issue with it, but almost every time my husband attaches it, it pops off.3. The motor isn’t loud, but you can definitely hear it. It’s like if your child was playing with a motorized car or something. Our cat seems to make more noise pouncing on the toy that the actual motor.Overall, I love that it comes with an auto-shut off feature after 15 minutes and it offers good stimulation for our cat.

Cat love this toy! Sad when it was gone
My cat LOVEs this toy. The first one worked well but the timer did not work on random mode- it kept running so I returned it to get a new one. I was waiting for the solid pinks to come back out, but my cat kind of looked bummed out that I returned his favorite toy. I ordered the holiday one just to get him it back and he was under the cover of it before I even got it set up. He definitely loves chasing things under covers or Blankets, so if that’s your cats deal, you have to get this! I also got him from the humane society about a month ago and he is a little skidding still- so having something to hide under the was appealing. He prefers it running too even when he doesn’t play with it, i think the sound comforts him too.

Brings out the playful in my cat!
The media could not be loaded. My cat is older (14 years old), very cautious, generally not playful and rather grumpy. She will chase a laser light only occasionally and for a very few minutes. I set this up first with the cover and "tail" thinking that would be the most intriguing for her. She mostly just sat and watched it go around and around, albeit very intensely watched, and only occasionally reached out to paw a little at it. As I said, she's a very cautious kitty and would back away anytime the moving tail got to close to her. I let her get accustomed to the toy in this form for a while before I finally decided tonight to take the cover off and attach the dangling feather. Before attaching the feather I held it out to her to sniff and develop a sense of it ahead of time. She instantly started trying to bat the feather around and I almost didn't want to attach it to the machine because she was enjoying it as is. But attach to the machine I did & oh my! She turned into a whole different kitty! I've never seen her play with anything so aggressively! Don't get me wrong... she's a very aggressive cat, but it's never been during play time. She attacks any visitors to the house, and sometimes my husband and I if we aren't making her happy. But she's never been so active during play time as when I hooked that feather up and it started moving around. I pulled the feet of the toy all the way out for stability, but she still was pouncing on the arm and making it tilt up off the floor. I worry about how much of this abuse the motor will be able to handle, I can't imagine the strain of when she catches the feather and holds it down while it's trying to spin can be good for the motor but honestly, as much as she is enjoying it now; however long it lasts will have been well worth seeing her actually be active! Even with the toy turned off, she enjoyed playing with it.

Cat really really likes it!
Better quality than first one by another seller that I returned;heavy duty, although cat manages to keep getting the fabriccover off even though it's fastened correctly. However, she loves it and it is also quiet which is nice. She spendsa great deal of time with it, glad for the random settingauto off feature. Recommend. Would have given 5 stars forall except for having to keep putting fabric cover back on. Sheis a clever cat!

Cat entertainment that lasts!
Short of the laser pointer, this is the best toy I've ever bought. It is the only one (again, omitting the laser) that all of our cats play with. Now, six months later, I will still come to the living room to find one of the cats sitting next to it and looking at me to turn it on. All of our cats play with this on a daily basis.I have bought countless cat toys that they either never played with or got bored of within a few weeks. But this one is still a favorite and one the cats play with together.

A decent cat toy for the price!
The pros: Fantastic at keeping my cat busy, providing hunting enrichment, and helping her get out her energy in a safe way. She loves it (to the point of running the batteries out). I didn't notice any small parts that could be potentially swallowed like some similar products I looked into. Since my cat loves trying to eat anything it's not supposed to, this product appealed to me. Takes a beating from my little kitty terror pretty well! The cons: The battery/motor did not last very long after awhile/repeated use- maybe 2-3 months max. Even after swapping new batteries, over time it just didn't go very fast on the fast speed anymore and died sooner and sooner.*Also, if you have a big cat or just a strong cat in general please supervise them as it is possible for the cats to rip out the wand/stick attachment at least in a similar product we have for our other cat. Then again, it's best to never leave your pet unsupervised with a toy anyhow.*Of course, to be fair, my cat is unfortunately too powerful and learned how to turn it on by herself to play with it until the batteries ran out of juice nearly every day and she tore off the little "blanket" part from where it is screwed in.Overall: I absolutely wish to purchase this again, the price is great, I just wish the motor was a little more sturdy and lasted a little longer.

A very honest review
My cat actually plays with it but I had to add my own toy attachment because it’s attachment is hidden under the cover completely. It’s one of those “for now” products. I doubt it will last more than a few months but we will see

The best £20 I've spent!!
The media could not be loaded. This is by far the best toy I've found so far. I have a bengal cat (Jack) who gets bored very easily & those fellow bengal owners know, if they're bored - they get very vocal! Soon as I switched it on, he came down from his cat tree to investigate. Jack prefers the mouse tail wand to the feather wand, I think this is because you don't use the cover with the feather wand so it takes away some of the mystery of what is moving around. It's easy to assemble & batteries are supplied. The only drawback was during excited sessions of play, the cover kept coming away from the main body. Maybe the locking system could be sturdier? I've glued it on which has worked and it doesn't affect changing the wand/batteries. Would definitely recommend.

The children are entertained
The media could not be loaded. Massive hit!The girls absolutely love it! Usually it’s one or the other but they are both obsessed! It came really quickly with batteries included. If it ever breaks I’d buy another straight away🤣

My 5-month kitten loves it
My kitten is crazy about the tail under the red cover (not so much about the feather). She treats the tail as a prey that's trying to hide and can't get enough of it. My cat can go really violent when she's excited, but the toy is holding up well so far.She likes to bite the soft head of the tail, I worry she will bite it off and swallow it, so I cut open a plastic straw and wrap it around the head using double sided sticky tape.Things can be improved are 1) my cat can easily unlock the cover when she gets too excited, so a better lock will be appreciated. 2) when jumping on the toy, she sometimes accidentally press the button.Overall a worthy investment to keep my cat engaged.

Will even capture the interest of our old cat
We have a cat that is very difficult to buy toys for and it's always been that way. She enjoy strings that you pull in front of her and that's pretty much it.When I turn on this toy for her, she can sit for a long time and stare at it...and to be honest, that's the most interested she's been in a cat toy in years :)So, I can imagine that any "normal" cat would enjoy this very much :)

good product
this play mat is exactly what we think cats would love but the little darlings have minds of their own, one minute she loves it then she ignores it and finally she cries to get it switched on then sits at a distance watching it but don't you dare turn it off, when it finally turns itself off she either goes to sleep or goes crying to it to get it on again, now and again she deigns to chase the tail just to keep us humans happy.
