UR BEST GADGET — update (just need some super glue)
if you work on your car, ur computer, ur household DIY like installing ur Nest system. get this."But why?" u may ask? fair question, how about, i put it like this...Say you have the best tools for the jobSay you have the best SKILLs for the jobSay.... you are SOOOOOO smart, u have the best BRAIN for the job... okay?well guess what? literally NONE of that matters if you can not see because there is no light.get this, your kid or ur wife will appreciate you stop asking them to come over just to hold out their cell phone's flash light for you. and you will feel so much more empowered by this thing that you will never need another person to hold a flash light for u ever again. i dont even turn on the light downstairs when i go down to the kitchen anymore, i just turn on my headlight. ITS THAT GOOD.—————-—-UPDATE!!!———————Okay so like after two days worth of use. It broke in half lol. The area where two screws were suppose to old the thing together just literally snaps off. I did not bang the thing cause it’s on my head so it’s not like I constantly banging my head on something for the last two days and break the thing. I just flip it up and down for the lighting angle when I’m using it which is intended to be used that way, and then at one of the flip down action it broke off instead of flipping down and at first I thought it was a clip that just got loose so I just try to push it back together on my head but it won’t “click” back then I take it off to have a second look and it wasn’t clicking back cause there was nothing to click, the thing that holds the screws and the case together was completely severed and I don’t even know how that’s possible Bc it has only been 2 days of use lol hahaha. It’s funny how flimsy that part is. But anyways it was $8 so I’m not too surprised. I used electrical tape and tape it back together to finish the job I was doing which was changing the graphic cards of some PCs and then when I was done. I took the tape off and just apply a line of super glue all around the rim where it sticks together and the part where it broke off since I don’t have to ever open it again anyways because it is a usb rechargeable unit. And so now I’m back to using it again even as I’m writing this review. I think the factory could’ve just apply the super glue there themselves during production and this thing would be solid. Anyways good product to have if u never had a head light before like me. I love this thing! lol

Battery life is the big drawback
I’m giving this three stars despite the so-so battery life because for the price I like the light.I bought this to help me knit and crochet projects with thin yarn and tight stitches like lace and doilies in low light. It’s plenty bright and the adjustable brightness is a bonus. The brightest setting is sometimes too much glare.I love the tilt feature that lets you point the light more precisely downward without craning your neck. The motion sensor is sometimes annoying but livable. The biggest con with this light is the battery life. It’s pretty bad and it will die at the most inopportune times. Anybody who buys this to rely on it in the outdoors at night is in for big disappointment and possible safety issues. It’s adequate for my episodic indoor needs unless I’m using dark yarn that calls for constant light in which case it falls short.I might be giving it five stars if it took batteries that could extend the contiguous usage time.Anyway for the price it’s okay especially if you only use it for an hour or so at a time. Mostly that’s what I do. But I’m probably going to buy another more expensive headlamp and keep this one for back up. I’m not unhappy I bought it and recommend it within some caveats.

Impressive for the price.
When I forgot my normal helmet mounted light for my night-time mountain bike ride, I used this one instead. Although not rated nearly as bright as my regular light, on the highest setting it was quite usable! The brighter light is still better for really fast downhill runs, but everywhere else this light was quite good. The motion sensing was very handy to turn the light on and off when not needed even on the fly! This assured that the battery lasted the two hours it took for the ride. Something I can't say about my regular and considerably more expensive light. My only suggestion is to provide a small dense pad and some arc to the back of the housing, my forehead is not flat like the back of the unit.

I can see to thread a sewing machine needle, finally!
Been checking the kinds of lites out for a while since a lot of my fellow quilters recommended them for people like me whose vision is not really sharp. I had so much fun with it--and I am so glad I got an LED light that recharges. We never seem to have the right batteries. I got a pack of 2 lights, will give one to my 8 yr. old grandson at the hoildays.BEST--I have NEVER seen any kind of flashlight or battery powered light that is this bright--200 Lumens, I think.I would have liked to have a more complete, readable set of instructions, but I will be assuming my Miner's disguise as I work on quilts tomorrow. KNOW my g'son will have a blast with it. And I LOVED the price!

Overall GOOD but battery and motion issues for me.
Overall the product is working constantly and reliable.BUT;- Battery is not last 4-6 hrs with full charge. If you use it in bright mode it takes about an hour and a half maybe. It is possible that they tested in very low brightness mode- Motion sensor was kinda annoying because if you are having a walk in the woods there many obstacles like leaf and branches. So light is going on/off all the time. And sometimes it is going off for no reason. That why I gave 4 star. Hope this helps to others..

Worth the money
I like how I have 2 so I can complete an 8hr shift. It goes dim around 5 hrs but if you have the other one on charge u easily have another 5 hrs. For this price it is totally worth it. I have streamlight, LED sensor, etc. They may last longer but to replace the battery it is cheaper to just get these 2 lights and swap them out. The light quality is better with the more expensive brands but for the money you actually get more than what you pay for. I would get this again. The worst part is the button is hard to press with mechanic gloves on. Motion sensor rocks as well for a positive note. Oil on the hands, no problem just run your arm in front of light and it turns on or off.
