Five Stars
iLuv hd wireless camera is, without a doubt, the best camera I own, especially for the price. It was a snap to set up. I can access it on my phone from anywhere. It notifies me of any motion in my home when I'm not there. I can ever play back captured video on the sd card from my phone. I can listen in on what us going on and talk to my 4 legged babies. I have two cameras, and between the two of them it covers my entire home with the pan and tilt feature. I can't believe I spent so much money on other cameras that were such a pain to set up and do half what this camera does. I don't have to pay for monitoring and the camera comes with a mounting kit so I can put it up where ever I need it

Picture quality is great and setup couldn't be easier; Software has lots of useful features
The media could not be loaded. Update 6-12-16 (lowered stars from 5 to 3) - Camera does not work with dual band router. I changed my internet service recently and couldn't get the iLuv to connect to the new WiFi router. After much hunting I found out that my router is a dual band router with both 2.4 and 5.0g broadcasts, and apparently the iLuv camera can't connect to the dual service. I even set my phone to use the 2.4 band, but the camera still won't connect.Update 11-11-15 – My 30 day free trial of Premium services expired recently and when I reverted to the “Free” service I noticed a change from how the Free service worked previously. As of this point in time you no longer get 24 hours of cloud storage with the Free service. Now when the camera senses motion/sound it will send an email alert and a snapshot taken when the event was triggered. The Free service no longer saves a 10 second clip for 24 hours. :-( Sad** Original Review **I've only been using this iLuv mySight camera for a few weeks, but I am very impressed. First off it is a breeze to setup. The Amazon Product Description lists an "Easy 60 second setup". 60 seconds may be a stretch, but I can honestly say it didn't take me more than 5-10 minutes from start to finish. It just takes a few steps: 1) Plug the camera into a power outlet, 2) download the iVideon app to a smart phone/tablet that is connected to your Wi-Fi, 3) create an account with iVideon, 4) enter your Wi-Fi password into the iVideon app, and 5) place your phone next to the camera (the camera read the QR Code displayed on the phone’s screen). That is it. The camera automatically links itself the Wi-Fi, and then starts recording. At this point you can see the Live Feed on the app. It is that simple. Really. For the last two weeks I’ve been struggling to install some outside cameras that use a DVR and port forwarding, so I was amazed at how easy it was to setup the fully functioning mySight system. In addition to the iVideon mobile app, the iLuv mySight camera uses the iVideon cloud for video storage. The camera comes with a Free service that will send you alerts (email or push) when motion or sound is detected by the camera. With this free service you can look at Live Feed, but there is no long-term storage of videos (you do get 24 hours ((update: you don't get this as of 11-11-15))) and no export of videos to a file. You can pay a monthly fee (lowest level is around 10 bucks per camera) that will let you store video clips for 7 days. With the purchase of the camera you also get a 30 day free trial to the 7-Day Cloud storage service. And something that is really classy – you don’t need to give them a credit card number to try it out the premium service. It is a good way to test the storage service and see if you need it.So after my 5 minutes of camera setup, I positioned the camera high atop a kitchen cabinet that faces the back door of the house. The power cord is 10 feet long. This is plenty long enough for my needs, but I do wish the cable came in black instead of the bright white. The bright white cable sticks out like a sore thumb against my dark cabinets. As for the most important thing - picture quality - this camera does an excellent job. Under lighted conditions the image is sharp and clear, and at night the IR does a good job of showing details. (Note: make sure you remove the clear plastic film for the lens or the picture will look really, really grainy. My bad, at first I didn’t notice the film.)Motion and sound detection works great and the sensitivity of the detection can be modified using the app. The motion detector picks up anyone moving in the vicinity of the camera, and the noise detector will pick up sounds (footsteps, voices, breaking glass). Both types of detection will turn on the recorder, and that recording is transmitted to the cloud. I actually had to turn off the sound detection because noise from the TV in the living room was causing too many recording events. Another cool feature is that you can get the software to send alerts (via email or push to your phone) when the camera starts recording. And so that you are not bombarded with constant email alerts, the software allows you to schedule when alert emails are generated. For each day of the weeks (Mon-Sun) you can specify times (broken down into 15 minutes intervals) that you want alerts sent. There is also an option on the phone app to turn on/off the alerts that that particular phone receives. In my setup I have the alerts turned OFF during the day when someone is home, and turned ON at night and when the house is empty. I really like the scheduling and I wish there was something similar to control sound detection. Like the alerts I would only turn sound detection on at night and also when no one is home. Of course you can manually turn sound detection on and off, but it would be nice to set it and forget it.In the sound quality category the MySight is a little meh. Recording and playback of voices is a little muffled and sometimes unrecognizable. Another issue is when using it as a two-way radio. Be aware that there is about a 5 second delay between when something is said and when it is broadcast. Even the Live Feed has this delay. If you watch yourself real-time on the Live Feed the delay is very obvious. But this is not a flaw in the mySight camera (my Sharx and Qsee cameras do the same thing); it is more an issue with the router and Wi-Fi.To manage the cameras and look at the videos, iVideon provides both a mobile app and desktop web based software (the desktop version uses Flash). While both work fine, I did find the layout in both to be a little non-intuitive. To me it was difficult finding and remembering where certain functions were located. Everything seems buried and hidden. There are also certain functions that can only be done using the phone app (ie changing the settings of the camera like noise & sound sensitivity) and other things that could only be done on the desktop version (setting up the times to send email notifications). It really gets confusing trying to remember which platform to use to fiddle with which function. And finally the design of the camera... well that is really nice. Kudos to who every came up with the wine glass shape. It looks very elegant and stylish. So overall this iLuv mySight system is a great home security camera. The video quality is excellent, and it does a great job of picking up motion and sound. It is a snap to install, and the cloud based services makes it super easy to view, store, and export the video clips. You do pay a little more for the cloud storage, but it is so much easier than messing with routers, IP addresses, and port forwarding. And while the software menu system could use some tweeking, it works really well. So this is a great product for a DIY security system.** Camera provided by iLuv for review purposes **

Good product, but glitches when initially setting up.
When I read the reviews for this product, I was pretty excited about getting it. Everyone talked about how easy it was to set up and how well it worked for a product of it's price range. However, when I tried to set it up the first time, it disconnected after a few minutes and I was not able to turn the camera back on. Puzzled, I deleted that camera from the app and registered it again. It still didn't work, so I gave up on it. A few weeks later, I decided to try the app again. To my surprise, the camera turned on and the app worked without a glitch. So while the directions were very easy to follow, you may need to fiddle with the app and the camera a little before it will start working properly.

I loved this until I paid for a year's cloud service
I loved this until I paid for a year's cloud service. When I received a notice of motion detected (by me as a test) I noticed I cannot blow up to see who it is. This camera will notice motion. But the image is so bad you will never be able to notice who it is. Very bad playback and image capture. It is so bad I cannot tell it is even me when testing this unit. I am so sorry to myself for buying a second one before noticing this. What is the point if it cannot capture a clean image? If I cannot ID who or what the image is?

Unreliable and difficult for travel
We use this as a baby cam. Setup was confusing because the app said the camera hadn't loaded when it had. If you move the camera to a different wifi (like when traveling) you have to delete your camera in the app and start from scratch setting it up. The camera drops offline often. When it works it's nice but it has required too much troubleshooting and setup.

Was easy and very clear quality to see on my apple ...
this monitor came just in the nick of time! Gave me security, and comfort while I was away for a weekend. Was easy and very clear quality to see on my apple iphone. The set up was seamless and the camera aesthetically works in any room. Sound quality is decent. This device works for security, just monitoring, and pure fun.
