Great Light owned for 21 months so far
I purchased this light in 9/21 (21 month so far) it’s been working great! The light is the prefect brightness (bright but not over powering). I leave it on sensor mode and it turns automatically when I walk to the door. Perfect on pitch black nights. I will buy it again if this one ever dies.

Expensive for a somewhat cheap design.
I waterproofed it with a product called Lexel and it has worked fine. It's not very sturdy but has worked fine now for a week and a half. The sensitivity adjustment is inside the lense and a royal pain to get to. The lense gasket won't stay put when trying to put it back on, but it works as described and the caulk insures it is waterproof

Perfect for my 12v solar shed project!
I got this because I wanted to add lighting to the exterior of my backyard shed. There are very few 12v lights that have the following: Good reviews, actual support that when asked a question someone answers back, motion sensing, is NOT on all the time/or dusk-dawn light, and comes in a small package. This item seems to meet all the required specs above so I was eager to try this. My shed is running off the grid in the sense that I have a 20watt solar panel, solar controller and about 6 UPS batteries running the interior led strip lights that I have (which are controlled by an RV on/off/dimmer switch). I wanted to add this fixture to the exterior so when I walk up to the shed at night, lights come on and or if the dogs are in the backyard when they walk by the shed it kicks on and we can see them (yard is fenced in).I modified the unit in a couple ways. I added an external weather proof on/off switch so that way I can leave the inside master switch ON, and then if I want to manually shut off one or both lights or have one ON and one motion activated I can do so. (Note that when you take the exterior lens off in the center of the PCB board is a small hole, behind it is a small momentary button that when depressed switches the modes, but it would only be useful if you didn’t have access to the hardwire power source and you wanted to change modes, otherwise one wouldn’t use that little momentary button) I also painted the external housing so it blends in with the shed color. Black/white housing would have looked bad and stood out more, so I wanted it to be as seamless as possible. (Probably voided warranty but oh well)These are bright. I was actually quite surprised at how bright ONE unit is let alone when both units turn on. I was expecting flashlight type dim light so I am pleasantly surprised by just how bright the light is. It’s pure white light, none of that bluish/yellow output. With all the great things about it however let’s get to the areas of opportunity. The single biggest problem I see is that there is no rear external seal. So whatever you are mounting it to one would have to caulk/silicone, which is fine however when or if you have to remove the unit can be a PITA… Strongly recommend the manufacture come up with a rear rubber gasket… there is already a recessed area in the back so it looks like it SHOULD have one and that fact that it doesn’t is annoying. I caulked all around it on my shed so there will be zero water coming in, but caulking around the motion sensor square nub at the bottom was a little bit of a pain. But at this price point a rear gasket should have been included.Another minor annoyance is the lens gasket. I’m not sure if the plastic piece really creates a water tight seal so time will tell, but I had to use 4 small drops of rtv on the gasket so that it would stay in the groove. It was frustrating being in the air and trying to balance the gasket in the groove while trying to put the lens on… the gasket just kept falling down. Now it’s fine, but just keep it in mind.Lastly is the size, yes this is small… overall not a bad thing. However the use of the LEDS are not utilized for such a big housing. Either shrink the housing down by about an inch, OR, make the LED panel larger. In this case I really feel there is a lot of wasted space IN the light fixture. Hopefully future revisions of this take note and maximize the LED panel and put more LEDS there. (this would actually be preferred, I'd want more LEDS in the future)I’m undecided about the blinking LEDs. At night the blue/green LED is bright. Which is nice when I am on the deck I can see it, but it can be distracting. Plus part of me doesn’t like that only because that’s power that is being used (albeit a small amount, solar people have to be mindful of where parasitic drains are). One other thing I wish there was a setting to adjust how long they could shut off/stay on/time of inactivity. I think that would make this extremely useful to "tweak" but, can't have everything perfect I suppose....I really like this unit, so for the above 3 things I only knocked off one star. I will update in a year to see how these lights are doing since they WILL be outside (though the roof covers them) they will still be exposed to rain, snow, wind, and lots of sun.The motion sensor picks me up when I am at our fire pit which is at least 25’ away from the shed, which is awesome! I actually have to turn the adjustment down a tiny bit so they aren’t constantly turning on when we are out socializing.I've attached pictures that show them. Hopefully it helps someone with their project!EDIT: Added photos of it getting dark.. They are bright! You can see it from the street!EDIT 2: 7-19-2017I've had this now installed on the shed for 9 months. They are still going strong. Lights up the back yard! Because we have a maple tree directly in front of the shed and I have yet to trim some of the bottom branches, when it gets really windy the branches WILL set off the motion detector and the lights will turn on/turn off/turn on...etc.

Would be nice if they added a switch
I like the brightness and ease of installation, it works as advertised! It would've been great if they added a weatherproof switch to the fixture so it could be used in other areas without the need of a wall switch inside the RV that is already used for a porch light, I now have to add that switch to the fixture which will void the warranty. I am having a condensation issue inside the fixture even after sealing the entire unit, no drain holes visible around the base of the fixture, I'm going to have to sneak in some spray insulating foam (non expanding) to seal the pathway of the 12v DC wiring going into the fixture. So far though nothing glaring as far as quality and looks sharp on the RV.Update to the condensation issue -I sealed the wiring pathway with some Butyl Tape (made a round plug), then used my Dremel Tool and a file bit and on the lower edge of the fixture I milled "2" 3/16" weep holes. Wiped the fixture and lens down for any condensation and sealed the outside except around the weep holes with silicon. It's been close to 24 hours since the work and zero condensation issues. The only flaw with this design is no preventive condensation solution, or power switch, otherwise it works very well!

Works well. Fit not so much
I've had 2 of these for 6 months now. I wanted them to replace the LED area lights on my ATC Toy Hauler. I never used the existing lights due to also having LED strip lights under my awning. I was hopeful that these motion sensor lights or the adapter plates (that I bought at the same time) would fit in the same holes as the existing area lights. NEITHER FIT. I reluctantly made new holes for the power cable and screws. I cut the wires to the old LED light fixtures and mounted them back in place. (Only I would ever know they were non-functional.) I added the adapter plates to the motion sensor lights and fed the existing power wires to the new fixtures. I sealed the edge of the adapter plates (Could use a better design). I have both motion sensor lights connected to the same existing lighted switch in my RV. Only rarely have I turned these motion sensor lights off in the past 6 months, and only once have they gotten out of sync requiring me to pull the cover from one to reset it. Very pleased with the result if not the mounting options.

Great motion detector
Installed two on my motorhome. Hopefully it will prevent theft.

Very difficult to install as waterproof
Pro: The light works well once installed. The motion-activation feature works well and the light is bright enough to see my keys and the steps into our RV.Con: It lacks an O-ring seal on the back seal rim. It was a huge mess installing it. Everything went fine until I had to apply silicone seal from a tube. I needed 4 hands to hold it in place while the calking smeared everywhere as I inserted the screws into the pre-drilled holes. Then the O-Ring on the lens would not stay in place and kept falling out when I tried to insert the lens.Summary: Great electrical engineering, and poor mechanical engineering design. Install at your own risk.

This is a great light
This is a great company to work with. I had a problem with one of my lights . I call them and almost before our call ended I had a new light on the way. This is a great company and great people to work with . I will be ordering more lights from them with ther backing plates that work great to replace the old lights on the side of our coach.

Nice and bright, great motion sensor
It could have 180 degree sensor and a dimmer for mood light
