LC Shape Plates (LC Shape Plate 09)

I am having a lot of fun using these shapes. The metal construction is surprisingly strong and very durable. Popping the shapes out of the plate was very easy. I then had to file down a little flange left on the plate and it filed off easily with a small metal file I had. I like that I have a choice of cutting around a shape or using the plate and cutting around the shape edge on the plate. Right now I am using this with polymer clay and it has worked really well. I want to get more. And truly the solidity and durability of this product is very impressive, will easily last a life time.

I love how sturdy these are! Because they’re made from metal, as opposed to the thin plastic most templates come in, its much easier to follow the outlines and cut a crisp shape. You can also cure right on the shape cutout, which eliminates distortion and tearing and allows you to roll the clay out very thin — perfect for translucent clays! I also love getting both the outline and the shape. Usually it’s a choice between the two. I love this cutter (this is the first one I got, they have a lot of different shapes). It’s very sturdy and stays in places which makes it so easy to cut the clay. Plus, you can turn it around to have a mirror image- perfect for making earrings! I’ll be getting more shapes soon!

Works perfect, made me look like a expert. Easy to clean and it sticks perfectly to my magnetized organization sheet. I will be ordering more.

These are very nice quality plates. I use them for polymer clay jewelry. I will be ordering more!
