4Pcs Roof Rack Side Rails + Cross Bars for 2017-2022 Honda CRV CR-V OE Style Black

I was apprehensive with the crossbars. I am very well pleased. Quality is very good. Easy to install and looks great. The instructions didn’t include the install of the below bar two set screws. Instal them, two on each side, before placing bars on roof. A very good purchase.

Easy to install. Directions could have been better, so you have to figure out two ideas yourself, but both are fairly obvious.Only comment is the crossbars fit loosely into the towers. I trimmed some of the packing foam and inserted into the towers on right to fill the void. Worked great, but I’m going to remove the bars again, use form in the left towers and wrap the ends of the bars in electrical tape to eliminate a very minor rattle, noise caused by the lose crossbars in their towers. I figure this should do the trick. But these are a fraction of the cost of Thule, Yakama or OEM bars. They look great and the value is very high.

Arrived on time and packaged well. Installed on a 2018 CRV LX AWD.I pulled up a youtube video of someone installing the same or similar rack and it was very helpful. I installed in about 1 hour and barely referenced the directions. I feel the directions were pretty thorough though.It feels sturdy and solid with multiple mount points. I will be using it for ski's/snowboards and occasional kayaks. I may get a large plastic container too, who knows.If for some reason I have some issues with using it or with the quality of it going forward, I will update this post.

It is easy to install and looks lovely on my car.

The parts came in good condition and the assembled product feels sturdy, but the fit of the rails seems sloppy… noticeable gaps at the front and back. Will add pictures soon

I was surprised by the excellent fit and finish. The instructions were terrible but I figured them out.The silver bars are almost identical in color to my CR-V's Lunar Silver Metallic...looks great.

The parts list does not include the four plastic interior stay covers that are cosmetic only.The instructions omit any mention of the stay covers. The covers were shipped with the crossbars however they are not mentioned in the parts list or the instructions.The directions are too lacking to gain a hint as to how they might be installed. You’re left to figure it out. It goes down hill from there because the parts do not snap into the mounts to cover the unfinished interior surface of the stays and also the screws that hold everything together. Thus it’s not possible to finish the installation and the look.I tried one approach where I completely installed the crossbars to get the correct width. Then the crossbars are set with screws. Then the rack must be removed, covers snapped in and the stays and crossbars assembled with covers attached before attaching assembled crossbar unit to the roof rails. That might be the correct sequence the covers remained in placed. They don’t.You don’t discover this defective fit of covers until after you have installed the crossbars.Without the covers this set of crossbars looks crappy, junky and unfinished. Very poor product.Now I have to disassemble and return and return it. Obviously can’t recommend for purchase. Can easily advise to avoid it.Once again, you get what you pay for. I like that the Cross Bars seem very sturdy. Also, the silver finish is a very close match to the Lunar Silver color of my CRV. As many have noted, the assembly/installation instructions are not complete, but not hard to figure out.Also, I did not like that the plastic screw covers would not snap in place using the provided screws. The provided screws had heads that were just too thick for the covers to fit properly. So, I made a trip to the local hardware store and purchased eight M6 screws (with thinner heads) and used them to attach the cross bars to the cross bar feet. The plastic covers then snapped in easily. I know the plastic covers are purely cosmetic, but it looks much better with them than without.
