I had different Pyrex products and this 4 size set is the best set I ever had. In addition I purchased a set of covers for the measuring cups. Now I can use these cups to measure, mix, prepare and if needed store without needing multiple other containers or bowls.They are sturdy and versatile. Worth every penny and a must to have.

Wow! Ok...This is the BEST deal out there, folks! Can I just ask this question? Why are Pyrex measuring cups SOO EXPENSIVE? Out of all measuring cup prices I searched on Amazon, and on Ebay, these are the the most BANG FOR YOUR BUCK! Seriously, the price for all 4 of these is the list price for one or two, on other listings. You get 4 top quality PYREX measuring cups! I cannot emphasize just how BIG the 8 cup mc is! The photos on here dont do it justice! A must have for any mom, chef, etc...The 8 cup is a whopping 7.5 "w× 5.25h, the 4 cup is 6"w×4"h, the 2 cup is 4.5 " w×4.25 h, and the 1 cup is 4.25"w×3.5 h. These are a great deal! I am delighted to finally retire my old ones that weren't name brand, and the painted indicaters came off my old ones. So glad to have this excellent quality. I bought these for my soap making, and for baking & cooking. These would make a great wedding gift for a wedding gift, housewarming gift, Christmas, birthday gift, for a great price...or just for one's self because you get the whole "shebang!" I'm definitely happy with my purchase.

Very Sturdy. Easy to read measuring labels on the sides of each cup. Have wash each cup around 100 times in the past 2½ years and the labels are still as bright, crisp and clean as the day they were delivered. Able to stack them inside one another, so it makes space for other kitchen items on the shelf. No issues with heating food in a pre-heated oven (emphasis on "Pre-Heated"). I love using the 4-Cup for mixing pancake mix right in the measuring cup then using it to dispense/pour the mix onto a hot frying pan. Makes it easy to cook perfectly round and proportioned pancakes. Pours clean with minimum drip. Very pleased and would recommend to anyone, to spend the little extra money to purchase this quality set.#1 concern was how the glass would not break or damage in transit, but they came in a well packaged box with padding.

I love having different sizes of glass measuring cups - especially since they nest together and take up less space. Many times when I'm cooking I need multiple sizes and containers so this works out well and for a reasonable price.When considering all the various materials to use to heat stuff in the microwave, glass is hands down the safest or at least the one I trust the most. I worked at both a food company and another company that used a lot of plastics - albeit the safest plastic materials money can buy. And even with that, when I'd probe into the test results I realized that all softer materials, like plastic, or materials that were painted/glazed would often migrate during heating. Granted, given the honorable companies I worked for none of the results indicated to me that my food would be unsafe; yet I didn't work for dishonorable companies. Taking this into my everyday life, I don't know if the products I'm buying for my home come from upstanding companies. So just to be safe I tend to heat stuff in glass.Comment to Pyrex: Even though I give this set five stars, you’re a big enough company, so could you please hire a good product designer or design firm to make a pour spout that works well? And yes, I know what I'm talking about because I've worked with some of the best product design firms in the world. Admittedly, it will require solid design based on trials and consumer use testing but it's possible :) The question is do you want to lead the industry or just keep increasing margins? Silly me, that was obviously a dumb question - lol

I've been using Pyrex measuring cups daily ever since I was a little boy learning to cook in my mother's kitchen. They are incredibly versatile and almost indestructible, but they don't bounce well on hard tile floors, so when I tried the bounce test on my 25-year-old 2-cup measure, I had to immediately buy a replacement.
