Poor quality
Poor quality speaker; does not conveniently connect to Samsung Smartthings hub or Google Home. Other better speaker products available on the market for less price.

I like the hardware but I am having major issues with the App that controls this. Bought two of these, two 750's and the sound bar. The sound bar is the best out of all of these as it works right from your TV, all the others require an App that crashes, loses touch with the speakers, drops out, loses touch with the PC serving the media, pops and crackles when adjusting volume or equalizing the speakers. When it works it is cool, music throughout the whole house but most of the time it gets really frustrating. I am thinking about returning the whole system solely due to the App.

These work great! I liked it so much I bought 3 more.
These work great! I liked it so much I bought 3 more. Has wired input, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It will also let you connect a cat 5 cable. The mobile APP allows you to group them to all play the same music, or have each speaker play separately. I have done both and love them. They work with Smartthings but application through smartthings is very limited. Because of that I had to lower from 5 to 4 starts since that was my original plan.

Very good sound quality for a reasonable price
This is the second M5 I buy, which I combine with another M7. Clean and powerfull sound for interiors. It's not difficult to connect it with the phone, but it's not intuitive either..... Very good sound quality for a reasonable price.

i wish i bought a $30 bluetooth speaker instead. At least it would work reliably.
i have owned this speaker for a couple years and it sucks. The app will randomly stop connecting to the speaker at times. I have never got amazon prime music to work properly. A couple different times since i have owned this the samsung servers require to control this through the phone have gone down for days at a time. I would return it if i could and this has taken my opinion of samsung down quite a bit. This is my greatest technology regret in the last 5 years. o and my samsung link app to control the speaker just updated and i can no longer connect to the speaker. ridiculous.

needs a DLNA server, Samsung link not very good
Update 2015-06-22:Shortly after my last update the app was enhanced. Now is very intuituve to play all songs or do a multi song select for an album. Overall the usability has improved a lot in the last months. So far my only complains regarding DLNA is that the app does not retain the last DLNA used it always defualts to the phone. I am updating my rating to 3 stars.Update 2015-06-04:After a few updates to the app and/or firmware for the speaker, the connection to the speaker is VERY reliable. The speaker also will not default to the internet radio by default when turned on, it will stay in the last source selected (bluetooth, PC or radio).DLNA support still not good. However I am having better results with the MediaMonkey DLNA server, the speaker seems to recognize the playlists, whereas the playlists in my DLNA server from my synology box are not recognized. The app has been updated to allow "shuffle all" by the album or playlist, however now if you want to play a few songs you cannot long touch the first song, but you have to tocuh "multi select" in the album or playlist, it works but is weird. The Samsung server (Samsung Link) has its own problems, I have not been able to add my speaker to it. It is detected as it has access to the PC but it is not recognized as a destination to play music. Finally, it seems that there is no way to keep my MediaMonkey DLNA server as the source of music, whenever I want to change album, playlist, etc I have to start selecting the source, and the default it is always the phone I am using.Original Review:Bought this to try to save money as I have a Sonos Connect and wanted to see if Samsung was an alternative. It is NOT.1. Connection from the application while the speaker is in wifi is unreliable if the speaker is sleeping it will not find the speaker many times2. It does not really support content stored in NAS and PCs. It only supports to play media from DLNA servers and Samsung Link and they warn you that You should use Samsung Link installed on a PC or compatibility will be less than stellar. Creating playlists or playing whole albums is impossible you have to select song by song.Unfortunately I throw out the boxes, if not I will return it immediately.
