You will be surprised ! - cracking value for quality product
Purchased this for daughter’s birthday as price reduced to c 100 so couldn’t refuse. Absolutely cracking value for this Bose quality.I own the original Soundlink Mini speaker and have been using for a long number of years and the quality build is superb. However, it’s the sound quality and volume that continues to surprise me from such a small unit !! You will be surprised !!! - these really pack a punch with loud crystal clear quality delivery - very portable and easily charged so ideal to carry with you if required. This newer version is even better than the original as it also now incorporates a mic so you can use for conference calls / speaker phone mode, whereas original model was speaker only, so thats a real benefit and supports hand free calls now as well as pumping out streamed music. No charging cradle supplied with this newer model, so its just the cable for recharging - not a major gripe, but personally liked the cradle with the original model. Easy to sync up with phone via Bluetooth and good range.I would recommend purchasing some carrier/holder to store & keep unit in, particularly if you will be carrying this around, just to protect it - got a cheap non branded holder on Amazon - does the trick. While there are a lot of portable speakers now on the market which are cheaper than this, there is really no comparison to the quality of build and sound quality that younger with this Bose unit, so if you see on sale for anything around £100 +/-, then it would be a strong recommended BUY from me, really impressive unit, so spend a little more and own a little piece of quality...Suppose I should really give this back to her now as I have ‘borrowed’ it for the last while........

Excellent product, well worth every penny.
I decided to purchase this Bluetooth speaker as I new some friends that have the first addition which was very good. I have had this one over a week now. Yes, as many have stated, The special addition does not come with a charging cradle, but I do not mind charging it via a USB wall adapter. This speaker is pretty lightweight and easy enough to carry, but heavy enough at the same time to know it is very robust and made from a good quality material. The bass sound quality is absolutely excellent as well. also, I love the way that you can connect an MP3 player or even your television to the auxiliary input feature on the speaker, depending of course if your television has an auxiliary output.I also use it connected to the second generation Amazon Echo Dot which seemed to work okay for me.Lastly, I would like to say that the battery life is excellent as well. You can get many hours of listening pleasure and has lasted me three or four days without charging I guess it depends on how much you use the device. certainly I would highly recommend this product from Bose. Certainly worth every penny.

Very good sound
The speaker is small, portable and flexible and produces fantastic sound, though it is not stereo, the clarity is not compromised.

Its worth it
It costs about 1.5 times the jbl ones. But having a bose product had been my wish for quite sometime now... so went ahead with this one. considered jbl flip 5 and charge 4 and was confused mostly coz of the price difference. i think i made a right decision. "Brain said jbl and heart said bose" kinda situation. Sound quality is awesum. good enuf for bedrooms and avg sized living rooms. won't blow u away if u really like loud music. I love some music going on in the background while i am going through my daily routine life. Its now a perfect companion for me. Will buy soundtouch 20 now in a few months time. the build quality is applesque. classy and clean design neat finishing. so worth it.Update : 2 years and 3 months of rigorous usage and still going strong...still amazes me and my friends with its sound quality and battery life. Thought battery life will deteriorate but proven wrong...full recharge still lasts me more than a week...and i play music all the time. Brings life to every party...indoors and outdoors...one of the best thing i have ever owned in my life. Absolutely worth it.

Hard of hearing eh what? Works for me.
Bought this while on special offer. I didn’t think I needed a Bluetooth speaker but at this price I couldn’t pass it up.I’m hard of hearing and this speaker makes watching tv so much easier than the sound bar placed in the media unit. I can place this behind my chair and listen without deafening the rest of the family.Nice warm sounding speaker with good separation. location is critical when placing the speaker in a large room. Placed shoulder high clear of surrounding objects this speaker fills a fifteen foot square room nicely. It’s now used to stream music while I’m in the workshop and garden. Currently used by everyone in the family for tv, phones and tablets, it’s dead easy to pair up too.Great product but a bit pricey at full price. I don’t know if there’s cheaper brands with equal features?

Luscious Sound
I adore the sound produced by this little speaker. This may sound rather cliche but music sounds so delicious (superb mids) and oh that bass! To my ears just enough amount of highs. I can't stand some highs that feels almost scratching my ears - the Bose Soundlink Mini is definitely not that! Before the purchase I read and watched many reviews, and a few of them were quite critical. Having listened to the Bose in person I don't care about their views anymore - being conscious that views are subjective. I'm not a critical listener, I simply want to enjoy music. A-B'ing different speakers are not what I intend to do. Having said that the Bose does seem to have their own sound signature. And I'm not complaining.Btw, I also have Anker Soundmotion+ (also great) and also have a collection of Sennheiser headphones and various amps.Lastly I love the Bose's design and quality build. Very Apple'esque. Fits in my living space very well.
