They did respond once about a wiring question but failed to help with any follow-up questions. This could leave you very frustrated during install. A lot of the issue could be attributed to the lackluster instructions. The Evo device wouldn't complete programming (light stuck on red) a fairly common issue (if you Google it.) MPC support did not respond when I asked for help during programming. I ended up resetting the device to factory, and then flashed an older firmware version, then reflashed the latest version. At this point I was able to finally get it working. The wiring harness is a mess, and they really need to include a odb2 bypass so you're not forced to cut factory odb2 wires... (Similarly priced kits include those.) This appears to just be a common kit sold by many different vendors under many different names. Duh.I was however happy that I could change the start pattern and idle time. I have the start button sequence set to lock X3 as seen in the video.I do believe support made some effort and I will likely get a response at some point, but as stated, the install will frustrate you and make you consider seeking a refund.

This starter seems to be working very well.Installation was relatively easy for a pretty handy person. The wiring diagram was confusing but provided the correct information relative to my Ram 1500.The programming directions seemed to lack detail but the unit programmed easily. My main complaint would be that the remote sequence described in the directions was incorrect. The (lock unlock lock) sequence did not work at all. After digging through the tech-support on the website the correct sequence (lock lock lock) was referenced, and When tried it worked!This unit was cheaper than some others, and does not require a dedicated key fob which is a big plus for me.In the most basic set up this just requires three wire taps and some time to fiddle with the software and programming.

So far for a plug and play. It's anything But! Install says it's supposed to be easy...... Instructions do not come with this kit. You have to spend time finding them online. Then they still are vague. I had to ask a neighbor who is a mechanic for help.I'll update more when it's finished.*****Update 9-14*******It took me and a professional mechanic 2 hour to install this. Instructions are confusing at best. They over complicate the install with all the extra wires. It does work as advertised, but for a plug and play..... not even close. I am raising the stars from one to two.

This remote start is ok. The directions are s little on the brief side, if they would add a couple sentences about which wire goes where rather than relying on a diagram it would be much easier.Mine works, but for some reason will not stay running once the key is in the run position and I try to drive away. So it dies, I turn it on with the key and away o go. Slightly annoying but I mainly wanted this for climate control in the summer and winter, so I can deal with it.

I've been through all of the steps and programmed the device successfully according to the software. I've done it several times and no matter what, It will not start the truck. And tech support closes on Friday afternoon and doesn't open back up until Monday. I don't have time during the week for hobbies, I have to do them on the weekends. Sending this back for a refund.

We own a Dodge Ram truck and the instructions are not clear, when we called tech support they said there is an issue with some of the instructions so they would walk us thru the process, but it was more of a DO THIS and call us back. We finally got a tech support person that was able to stay on the phone and UNDO what other techs had done and walk us thru the steps completely. The remote start now works GREAT.

Not a true plug and play- instructions or “tip sheet” sucked and were vague. I had to email for the full instructions. I returned because I didn’t want to splice into my ignition wires. Returned for a true plug and play.. I had to pay for return shipping.

Overall the kit is I would say a 8/10 on a level of easiness to install. I think the instructions could be detailed a bit better but luckily the tech support was very helpful. I called the customer service with questions and they were very kind and helpful. Marcus reached out to me on the phone and helped talk to through some of the wiring steps, which was great. Overall the product itself is great and works as intended.
