handy!
This case is great! Out of my way, and easy to grab my glasses!I'm doing an update. Its now getting hot here in NJ and this case just opens up. the magnet is not holding anymore.

Waste of money
Magnet started falling out after a couple of weeks and losing its strength as well, it would randomly open while I was driving hitting me in the face. It finally completely broke where it wouldn’t even close just shy of two days after I bought it a year ago.

WORKS NICE BUT OPTIONS NEEDED
This is my 2nd holder. Inherent to these plastic cases are the plastic stubs for the hing. They require care in use or they easily snap. Must treat with care when opening/closing.Two things i wish they'd incorporate: 1st: more padding on the inside to protect the glasses. The felt-like embossing they have is so thin, that glasses easily rattle/vibrate.2nd: they only provide for avisor clip mounting, which I cannot use due to mirror and handicap placard holder on my visor. Like the last, I must cut the clip anchors off the back of the glasses case that you insert the visor clips; sand, then clean and apply double-backed foam adhesive so I can apply and mount the case to the plastic ceiling panel in my car, above the center console, where the ceiling light and switches are located.Aside from the periodic vibration and mounting modification for my needs, the case works well as long as I treat it gingerly. As it is, I usually buy two at a time for when the plastic hinges break. As far as I can find, they are all made that way.

Works well for most sunglasses
Works well for most sunglasses. If the sunglasses are a bit oversized such as a large pair of aviators, they do not fit. My main concern was the magnet that keeps the case closed would come undone should you hit large bump in the road but so far that has not happened.

Nice, but watch your head.
The glasses holder was easy to install, and it does what it is supposed to do - which is hold glasses and make them easily accessible with one hand. The magnetic latch and free swinging hinge make opening very easy. The down side is that in my car, which is a sedan, the depth of the unit makes for bumping my head on it when I get in the car. Putting it on the passenger side visor helps this - but doesn't do my passenger any favors. Having to reach over to get it is less convenient as well. It squeaks and rattles a little bit, but this could probably be cured with a little felt or sponge. This item is probably best suited for a vehicle with quite a bit of headroom.

Weak magnet and clips
The magnet on this is not very well secured, I had to reglue it after just a few weeks. The clips on the visor are also rather weak, so this flies off when the visor is it's raining right now lowered.

Great product
I love the ease of use! The weak point is the magnet being held in by the piece of material holding it in place. In the heat of the truck the glue melted and it came apart. I superglued the magnet in place and put the material back in place. No problems since

Magnet comes out.
This would be a great product, but there is a design flaw with the magnet. It’s a very strong magnet and it will stay attached to the base when the lid is open. This causes the lid to fall open and the glasses to drop out while the car is moving. It seems like it’s designed to be a pressure fitting rather than an adhesive one. I tried a couple different types of glue, but both failed since the magnet is smooth metal and the case is hard plastic. Maybe some double-stick tape is an option, but I’m done trying to retrofit poor design or assembly.
