Science meets analysis = sustainable results
First off I really enjoyed this book. I have been weight training for 20 years and lifting for symmetry and size for 8 years. My best results came from macro dieting. The issue with my previous diet was I did not take into consideration the “type” of calories I consumed but more of IIFYM and hit a plateau. This adds a true scientific approach to macro dieting and maximizes fat loss by using your body’s inherent design to regulate glucose, insulin, and glucagon release.Bottom line, if you’ve come close to achieving your ideal physique or if you’ve struggled with yo-yo and fad dieting this book can seriously help you. You’ll understand the key to fat loss, muscle preservation all the while still adding lean body mass.I reference this book constantly for not only myself but for those I assist with achieving their ideal physique. I highly recommend this book and there’s a reason top athletes around the world seek to work with the author of this book.

Advice from the greatest!
A nice book to take with you everywhere to figure out the ways to eating healthy and losing weight. Very light and portable, a great reminder to have with you! Chris Aceto breaks this book down with deep science on how the body works about fat loss and the many ways of tackling the problem of fat into laymans terms for everyone to understand easily. I have been a big fan of this mans works and the people he has trained for the Mr. Olympia. Always a fan and grateful to have some of his writings! Thank you Chris!

Legit!
All you need to know about weight loss is in this book. I am a. Bodybuilding coach/trainer and I highly recommend this book to anyone trying to learn macros and how they interact with the body.

SUPER BOOK
Though the book is small in terms of books, it is packed wall to wall with useable, well written, and simple english facts about fat loss and nutrition. The Author works with Americans pound for pound leanest atheletes which are of course body builders. I have personally been able to gain from and implement all the information in this book. A MUST READ for people who want to loose weight, diabetics, body-builders. and any other atheletic types. This is NOT some diet gimic book this is real life information from an expert in the field, and the information is usuable for anyone from Olympic Athelete to the everyday Homemaker.

facts only, no gimicks , written for athletes and fitness professionals
this book is straight to the point, a great read, full of scientifically valid useful information. If you want a lose weight quick diet program this book isn't for you, but if you want to understand how your body works, how fat is burned , how to find out how many calories your body needs and how to write a good nutrition program specifically tailored for you or your clients this is the book for you. This book doesn't teach you a new fad diet it helps you understand nutrition, something most of us should have learned in second grade science class.

Great read, lots of info very helpful
This is actually a very good book that might get overlooked by the more flashy and better promoted books.I am only half way through the book but I find that it is very helpful. A lot of the information about insulin and how it interacts with your body is very informative and can help you look at your diet differently.Very good price for some great information. This book will probably be overshadowed by books that promise 1000 lbs lost in 5 days....check out this book first.

I have been working out and learning about the science of muscle building for over 30 years. When I have friends approach me that want to lose weight, this is my go to book. It logically explains the process and gives a breakdown of how to start and make adjustments. I believe in the same principals as the author but he explains it far better then I can.
