🏊♂️ Dive into effortless pool maintenance!
The Skimeeze Pool Skimmer is a stationary device designed to automatically collect debris and leaves from both in-ground and above-ground pools. Its symmetrical shape and dual handles allow for versatile use, while its finger grips ensure easy insertion into skimmer ports. Made from pool-safe materials, it is resistant to corrosion, making it a reliable choice for pool owners.

For those who can't vacuum and skim at the same time.
Although I had to modify the Skim-eeze I'm giving it 5 stars because it works and for the price it is very well built. This product is for those, like me, who have to hook the pool vacuum to the skimmer. Which means you can either skim or vacuum. You can't do both at the same time. The Skim-eeze didn't fit into my skimmer opening, NOT the fault of the product and something I anticipated. I used PVC pipe and rubber bumpers to make a simple frame. I placed the frame into a hole in the pool deck which is used to holding the pole for the volleyball net. I then attached broom handle clips to the Skim-eeze for clipping it to the PVC frame (see photo). All that was left to do was adjust the water return jets in the pool to get the water to circulate in the correct direction and the Skim-eeze worked! I can now vacuum and skim at the same time! The only true criticism I have for the Skim-eeze is that the net is too stiff and too short. When the pool water stops circulating, much of the debris collected by the Skim-eeze tends to goes back into the pool, especially if the wind is in the right direction. I feel if the net were longer and pliable enough to collapse upon itself when the water stops circulating more of the debris would be trapped, preventing it from getting back into the pool.I plan to remedy this problem by replacing the net in the future.

Minor modifactions needed, but now a very effective addition to my major leaf problem.
I have been apprehensive in writing a review for this product. However, after a bit of minor modifications, I believe I owe it to the makers of the Skim-eeze to provide a review. As I stated, I had to make some minor modifications in order for the Skim-eeze to remain perpendicular to my pool's wall/skimmer. To clarify, once I inserted the Skim-eeze into my skimmer as instructed, it actually sagged a bit, resulting in the end of the Skim-eeze lower and at times dipping under water. I simply added a soft bumper to the lower end of the Skim-eeze where it rests against the skimmer, enabling it to remain perpendicular and level.Ok, now that I have explained my modification as best I can, I will give my opinion on the effectiveness of the Skim-eeze. I actually place it in my skimmer mouth all the way forward, so that leaves and what-have-you don't have a chance to enter my skimmer, There are some leaves and such, which go around the Skim-eeze. However, those are only the ones floating further out and eventually end up in the Skim-eeze once they travel closer to the pool wall. It is important to use a right angled pool return nozzle in order to get a good circular flow of the pool water. I use the Infusion V-fitting found at https://www.amazon.com/Infusion-V-fitting-Inlet-Return-Venturi/dp/B008DG32FI. This return fitting gives me the best results.I have to say that I was quite shocked at the size of the Skim-eeze when I opened the box. The pictures make it look so much smaller. However, it is very light and the handle on top makes it very easy to move around. It feels very substantially made. The plastic is hard and the netting is extremely tough. Just be careful as the corners of the net can be a little sharp. So, except for having to modify mine, I am very pleased with my purchase. I waited a long time until I saw the price drop considerably on Amazon. I believe this thing used to cost around $30! I believe I got mine for $10. Hopefully the manufacturer will take people's comments and recommendations, and continue to produce the Skim-eeze. Thank you for your time.

Cuts skimming time dramatically!
I just installed this today and I had a pool full of pedals from a pink crab tree. After leaving it in there for about 2 hours, I would say that nearly 80% of the pedals were caught in the net. To give you an idea on the amount of pedals floating around, it would fill up my filter basket in less than 2 hours! With the Skim-eeze attached, I had just a little debris that actually made it into the basket. The product was simple to install, but as another reviewer mentioned, it didn't quite fit into the opening of the skimmer, so I had to cut the plastic pegs down a little, maybe 1" in total so that it would fit. I would say this is a one-size fits most, but an easy 5 minute fix assuming you have a hacksaw, jigsaw, or any type of saw that can cut plastic for that matter.I am only disappointed that I hadn't come across this product sooner! Highly recommended to any pool owner that gets a considerable amount of leaves and hates the daily grind of cleaning it manually. I would probably agree that this might not be well suited for in-ground pools as well as for circular above-ground pools. The only reason that I say this, is that I've noticed that with my pump running, the water spins in a circle around the edge of the pool from the water return jet which creates a nice path for the debris to flow right into the net. If you had a pool where you didn't have such a current, I can't speak to how well this product would work.

Didn’t fit!
Skimmer net did not fit tightly enough inside the skimmer box to stay in place. The only way to make it work properly I would need to drill holes top/bottom of box to allow spring pins to fit into.

Do your research
My pool company recommended this since we’re doing a lot of ground construction around my property. It stated that it worked on above ground pools. So without thinking, I ordered it and tried to install it. It would not fit. My skimmer box is a quarter inch too small.

Pricey, but anything that helps with keeping the pool debris free is ok by me
When i first opened the package i was surprised at how long this was, I was a bit put off, just by the size. ( I dont know why) The skimeeze is a bout 30" long the opening is about 8.5" wide. It fits my skimmer square which is about 8"x 8". It secures well. As per others that needed to use a bungee cord to prop it up , I did the same. At first it seemed fine without the bungee cord but for some reason it just works better with itIt easy to install and remove. I remove it daily to empty out the leaves. I think i read that someone said it directs the leaves to the skimmer basket but that is not the case for me. i have leaves that are trapped in the net. In fact my skimmer basket looks pretty good lately. Again, anything that help with keeping the pool debris free is good by me
