Excellent gimbal! Cheaper than others too!
This has worked better than I expected. It is very easy to learn how to use. The only exception was the directions. It very vague but can be simple to learn. top and bottom button adjust the pitch up and down. the side button has 3 modes which can be associated with the led light on the back of the rear motor. Blinking means "follow" (turning in the direction you want. keeps horizontally level). Solid means "fixed" (will keep camera facing same direction no matter how you move it. Fast blinking "Head Follow" (will look in whatever direction you point it to.); for example, looking at the ground or sky. Unlike "follow" which keeps horizontally fixed. This one will also move vertically.)The motors are quiet and I have not heard them in any video that I have taken yet. The battery life is great ( 4 hours from my experience). The optional connector to feed the gimbals power to the camera is a big plus since it will outlast it. I do wish there was some sort of posts on the handle to wrap the extra cord around similar to vaccums. But I guess twisties will have to suffice. Overall very happy! Cord just may be just a bit longer than Id like.

Detachable Feature HUGE Advantage
I've had this for about three months now and put it through a years worth of use already. Still as good as day one. This gimbal is well made and functions as its suppose to. The MAJOR benefit to this is the detachable head. I stick mine on a monopod and kept the remote at the base. Collapsed it's the same as the others on the market but extended its a game changer. I never thought this would be as useful (being able to detach gimbal from remote) but I got it anyway incase. Now I'm convinced tgis is the only way to go vs fixed to remote unit. Told a friend, he got a different one and now sees why I was so excited about this one.Only complaint is the instructions on what the remote functions do leave a lot of room for improvement. I can set the horizon, freeze pan and adjust up and down. Pressing a few more times and I can't quite figure out what it's doing and usually have to turn off the. Back on and it's back to normal.

LOUD motors in GoPro speakers
Super smooth video. No complaints there. My one complaint (and the reason I returned it) was that you can hear the motors through the camera speakers. It sounds like a vacuum constantly running. If you're using this as an action cam and you're gonna layer music on the video then that's probably not a problem, but if you want audio then it IS a problem. The only workout around I would find was moving the gorpo a few cm away from the edge of the mount. Even then you could still hear the "vacuum" in the background. Final complaint: If you're not using this thing on a GoPole then you have to find someway of getting the wire out of the way and that is NOT easy. They show it coiled up on the handle in the pics, but if you do this you can't get to the control buttons. It shoots super smooth video, but it ruins your audio and is cumbersome when not on a pole, so what's the point?

Great when it works
This unit stopped working after a week. It would power on but it would not engage after holding the mode button for 10+ seconds. I used it with go pro 4 black, The power connector for gopro (excellent Idea bad implementation) brings some noise with high ISO settings on the camera. Also when you hook the power connector while the camera is on you’d loose WIFI etc. It was hard to find out where and which firmware to use to upgrade this unit but I was on the newest firmware (v 1.05) Still didn’t help. I wish the wires to the servos were more protected too.The operation is VERY smooth the brushless motors are NOT audible. I’d give it 4 stars if it didn’t stop to work. I’d give it 5 stars if the power connector worked flawlessly with the go pro black

Gimbal and it's functions work great, but cable management is poor.
Pros: Looking over several gimbals, this seems to stand out since it has a long cord and can pretty much be attached to any gopro mount. The gimbal seems to function fine, no issues here. I like how you can use the provided connector to charge the gopro using the gimbals power.Cons: In the reviews, some people mention it came with a helmet strap; Mine didn't. The instructions are kind of confusing. I had to learn/figure it out through other people's reviews. The pictures they provide are very deceiving. For example, you can attach the gimbal to a pole, but how do you hold the pole AND the remote? They provide a velcro strap, but using this to attach to the pole isn't very secure. It's also very awkward to hold and operate. The cord is very long, so managing a way to wrap the cable is kind of frustrating. If you do end up purchasing this and don't have a different mount, I suggest using the handlebar attachment (included) with the remote. Literally just mount it to the remote. Seems secure, but again, there's no "clean" way of managing the cable. I just coil it up and use the velcro to hold it together.

Not perfect, but I liked it!
Not perfect, but I like it. I have to be very careful not to drop it so it won't break. I wish I can get rid of the cable. It so hassle in the trail during bike riding.

Almost but not quite
It was great for the first week or so. Now the blue light stays on and there is very little as for as customer support on how to resolve. It lives in a drawer now. I reached out to the Glide Gear via a ticket and have yet to hear back. The cables that surround the gimbal are very nerve racking and sometimes the gimbal rotates to far. Spend the extra money on a unit with all the cables inside the gimbal.

Four Stars
Capable gimbal, just make sure no one touches it and forces motion
